How are the results of the early voters kept secret? Surely the county electio staff must know how the voting is going, especially in counties with electronic voting? Anyone know?

We don't have electronic voting here. From what I understand, no votes are counted until Nov 2. Am I misled? I know Al Sharpton in FL assured early voters there that if they voted incorrectly in early voting, they could vote again on election day... now I know that is wrong. How could anyone believe that?!?

the early votes are not counted until after the polls close on election day. They are in locked boxes and then put in a safe area, to not be touched until election is closed.
