Rush Thread 10-20-04 - Kerry will declare victory on election night, no matter what!

Posted on 10/20/2004 9:24:15 AM PDT by bigjoesaddle

Rush is starting out with how the Dems are not going to make the same mistake Gore did, they will declare victory and start assembling a team to take over.

He also said the main thing the lawyers will use is the "equal protection clause", because everyone uses different type of machines, they can claim everyone did not have an equal chance to vote.

I don't think he's kidding. The Dems began a plan to steal this election on January 22, 2001.

This proves what the Democrats think about The Constitution and the laws of the nation. They want to barge into office and reconstruct every thing to their liking. From then on every one will be happy in DemocraiK-Republik of Amerika or else.

The Dems are on par with the terrorists. Why? Because they are using our own freedoms and laws AGAINST US!

John Kerry has been planning to be president for his entire life and feels entitled to it.

Yes he has, and that's the best reason Kerry shouldn't become president.

I have always thought about that too. The liberals don't seem to understand that when it gets bad enough to have another Civil War, WE will be the ones with guns!!!

Absurd.....the dem's will try to do everything that they possibly can to steal this election like they tried in 2000. Let's not let that happen!!!!!!
They tried all along to buy the election (michael moores movie, hollywood actors rants to the press, loser-has beens holding concerts against Bush, etc.) and none of that worked, so now they'll do anything they can to steal this election. Bush needs to win, and to win BIG.

It's not humor, Buddy. Rush is pointing out that the last election opened the Pandora's box when it comes to legal challenges in Presidential elections.

If the election is close (which I hope it will not be), it's going to be a legal quagmire that will make the 2000 mess look like child's play.

Last night I saw the fraudulent arguments and canards being raised on television news. Apparently there were problems in Florida again, went the falacious claims! This is yet another setup, albiet obvious, to steal the election again because they don't like the result.

The chances of this election being as close as the one in 2000 must be terribly, terribly remote.

This election will very close. It will come down to a margin of a few very close states. The final electorial count will be wider and no state will be as close as Florida. But I can see this election coming down to 10,000 votes in a couple of state. It will be close enough that if the left loses, they will go crazy digging up every possible way to steal the election.

"this kind line of "humor" from Rush is irresponsible"

I don't think he's being funny -- I think he's deadly serious. I have a very bad feeling about this election and its aftermath.

I'm sorry, but if Kerry does lose by a significant margin, this strategy will be doomed to failure. In order to pull off this kind of coup, Kerry will need the support of elected Democrats in Congress. I don't see that happening. If it's clear that Bush won the election, no Congress critter on the left is going to stick his neck out to try to get an election overturned when its a hopeless cause. No senator or congressman wants to be remembered as the one who tried to help overthrow the election process in 2004.

And keep in mind that the Clintons don't want Kerry in the White House. Do you think his party at large is going to support this nonsense with Madam Hitlery waiting in the wings?

If it's close (ala the 2000 election), look for Kerry to pull out all the stops and try to steal the election. If Bush wins as big as I think he may, Kerry will concede. He may be permanently installed as the "conservative senator from Massachusetts," but other libs have to fight for their seats. Think that Edwards is going to go to the mat if its clear that Bush won? He's going to want to live to fight another day.
