The founder of the U.S. Christian Coalition said Tuesday he told President George W. Bush before the invasion of Iraq that he should prepare Americans for the likelihood of casualties, but the president told him, "We're not going to have any casualties."
I'd check the Whitehouse phone records to see if this conversation even took place. Pat is either delusional, lying, or both. Remember when he said that if Bush "touched Jerusalem", he would form a third party and take a huge chunk of Bush's supporters with him? I used to think that Pat was just a little silly. Maybe he was at one point. But now he's got some serious issues.

Pat actually said he'd form a third party and split Bush's supporters? Wow.
I suspect this flap over what Bush said is probably Pat misunderstanding what Bush told him. I've seen the 700 Club here and there and I doubt Pat has anything against Bush, but he does tend to have lousy timing in what he says.
