Al-Zarqawi's Group in Iraq Changes Name

CAIRO, Egypt - Tawhid and Jihad, the Iraqi militant group of terror mastermind Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, apparently has changed its name two days after announcing its merger with Osama bin Laden's al-Qaida organization.
An Internet statement released Tuesday under the purported new name, al-Qaida of Jihad in the Land of Two Rivers, claimed responsibility for an attack on a U.S. military convoy west of the Iraqi city of Fallujah the same day. The two rivers in the new name refers to the Euphrates and Tigris rivers in Iraq.

Did anybody doubt the Zarkerri/Bin Laden connection? It is interesting they changed the name to al-Qaida of Jihad in the Land of Two Rivers.
Sounds like the title of a Dr. Seuss book.
Two other reasons I'd like to add as to why bin Laden may be dead:
1) today read on the news that president Bush has made the capture of al-Zarquavi his number one priority on the WoT.
2) I don't remember the original bounty on bin Laden head is/was. Maybe $25 million. Well, Zarquavi has a bounty also for $25 million.
The should call themselves "The Going to Hell Gang".

Oh, that's right... they were completely different before. Totally different group, totally different objectives. And now -- out of the blue -- they're al Qaeda. Uh huh. Okay.
I can't believe the number of Americans who allow themselves to get all tangled up in what these godless bastards are calling themselves. They're jihadists. Every last one of them. Same team, same playbook, same goal. Considering that the goal is our annihilation, you'd think people would wise the hell up.
