They know they are behind--Flu Vaccine could tip election??

Elanor Clift knows her party is behind. Her article, "Flu vaccine shortage could tip election" is more indication that these dems know they are behind--and by large margins. It also is a good example why Government run health care would be a disaster. If she is blaming government for a simple vaccine shortage...what in the world would we do if Government had to control all vaccines...all medical patient treatment programs, all surgerires etc... What a nightmare. Wish someone would point this out on talk-radio and conservative outlets!

Why is not one assigning the blame on Edwards and his fellow trial lawyers? I thought no drugmakers wanted the liability associated with the widespread use of a vaccine (and the few who experience a side effect).

When will the RNC wake up and finally fight back once and for all?

Here's what I did, and what all FReepers can do about this lie:

Write letters-to-the-editor of your local newspapers.

1. Express sympathy for the people who are frustrated they can't get their shots.

2. Point out that the vaccine shortage is NOT President Bush's fault, but the fault of a HILLARY-CARE program + and trial lawyers' greed.

A great resource you can quote from to prove your points: The Wall Street Journal: Infectious Politics. (FR link here.) This article that explains the REAL reasons for the shortage:
(a) Hillary Clinton's government bulk-buying vaccine programs; and
(b) high liability insurance costs for vaccine producers.

Both (a) and (b) are major reasons American vaccine producers stopped producing vaccines, forcing our reliance on the two foreign sources.

3. Point out how Kerry's promises to spend federal money to bulk-buy "drugs for our seniors" will result in the very same kind of shortages -- of ALL their drugs, not just the flu vaccine!

This flu thing is much ado about nothing.

The only people who blame GWB is radical Dems and biased news reporters.

Come to think of it, they are the same thing.

I think there won't be a draft because they can't figure out what do to about women. Draft them and there will be cries against it. Not draft them? Where will the feminists be then? Displaying their usual hypocrisy?

Edwards may have been involved in a suit in which a large verdict was won against a flu vaccine maker.
