COMEDY CENTRAL's 'DAILY SHOW' has experienced surprise audience erroision -- despite a publicity push by host Jon Stewart.
Stewart, who announced last week that he plans to support John Kerry, pulled 1,040,000 total viewers for month of September -- down 7% from August, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.
A jumbo push by media writers and a bestselling book apparently has failed to translate into any audience improvement.
He's a pompous know-it-all.
the daily show stopped being funny and cool when craig kilbourn left.
Are you serious? Craig is about as talented as that otehr ESPN guy who has a show, or at least had a show.
plenty of people seem to be buying that book. 2 weeks in a row on top of NYTimes and Amazon
The more people know about him the less they want to watch.
The only thing more loathsome than a Bill Mahr is a Bill Mahr wannabe.
Book? What book?
He tries to be non-partisan funny but it is neither non-partisan nor funny.
I watched the CNN Crossfire over on iFilm.com. I never watch this guy cause you can almost smell the french perfume coming off of him when you watch.
BWA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HAHA! GLAD TO SEE THIS OVERRATED CLOWN, THIS DENNIS MILLER WANNA-BE, IS LOSING AUDIENCE!
"The Daily Show" has devolved into nothing more than Michael Moore Lite. Last show I saw there were 4 stright ridicule-Bush segments to start the show, and then something about voter fraud (hinting the GOP would be behind it). Absolutely nothing against, or even remotely critical of John Kerry or the Dems.
Morons lose
What shows were you watching? Stewart and Clairborne not funny? Come on!
Bill Maher is more insane. He said Iraq was better off with Saddam one night on Scarborough. The guy has been snorting some large quantities of something with that nose...
It's sipmle. His main audience of 14-year old boys aren't allowed to stay up that late on a school night. That's why he had larger ratings during the school vacations in August and why it went down after school started in September.
