GULLIANI 2008
Guiliani is pro-abortion and anti-family. I don't know if he would make it out of the primaries.
Giulianni was great at the convention, and the nice thing about him is that he is very articulate and argues his positions well, which is something that Bush, despite his great character and principles, is not good at doing. The points of concern with Giuliani are (1) he is not sound on social issues, and (2) he lost in NY to Hillary, so would he lose nationally against her? On the first, I would still support him so long as he didn't do anything to advance the liberal social agenda on abortion and promotion of homosexuality, and would not be adverse to pointing conservative judges.
NO WAY WILL I VOTE FOR HIM FOR PRESIDENT!
Between him and Arnold they'll ban guns and meatgrind babies to no end.
Otherwise, he's ok.
Just what we need. Another RINO.
You want to see how many Conservatives will just stay home on Election Day 2008? Run an anti-Second Amendment and pro-abortion candidate.
And don't bother trotting out Hillary as the Dem candidate. We're all a bit too old to be spooked by the boogeyman here.
he's coming. this board is going to be full of unhappy campers when he does - but they have some incorrect impressions of Rudy; you have to do certain things as mayor of NYC that won't carry over to the presidency.
our party stands for nothing if we allow Hillary to walk into the white house in 2008 because we nomininate some idealogue with no star power. maybe a guy like Owens can gel into a good candidate, not sure, haven't seen enough of him yet. but our party hasn't groomed anyone for 2008.
Rudy is hardly a conservative.
