Of Racism and Fear – The Modern Democratic Party

By William Lee

October 14, 2004

The 2004 presidential election is just weeks away and the Democrat Party is using a campaign strategy of racism and fear. Sadly, this is not something new, nor should it be surprising. We all remember the racism by geographical location implied in the James Byrd ads of 2000. Exploiting racially motivated murder for political gain was not beyond the pale for these propagandists back then, so why should we expect anything less this time around.

The tactics are shameful.

These tactics include radio ads that imply if you don't vote a certain way you are a traitor to your race. Television adds that characterize an entire political party and consequently half of this great country of harboring racist attitudes.

During live news broadcasts, before the presidential debates, placards could be seen behind the talking heads that read, ‘Republicans are Racists.’ Advertisements are currently on the air claiming that the GOP wants to remove African-Americans from the voter rolls. Some of these ads don’t mention that they are using the word African-Americans when they are really referring to convicted felons. Is felon synonymous with African-American, and just which party is asserting this?

This party has held control of the vast majority of the African-American voting block for the entirety of the modern political era. They hold almost all of the power on the state and local levels in minority communities.

Most people, Anglo and African-American alike, would agree that one of the main solutions to inner city poverty is education. Yet after decades and decades of democratic control in these areas little has changed. On account of bureaucracy and corruption the inner city schools rarely ever see the federal and state money coming to them and the usual pockets are lined at the expense of children. Yet, if an African-American even considers certain policies that offer solutions or alternatives to the current public school problems they are often chastised and told they are being fooled. This year the parents of many students will have a choice. If the school their child attends fails to meet educational standards they will have the opportunity to remove their child from that school and put them in a school that is performing. A measure made possible by a Republican administration.

The current administration has two high-level cabinet positions occupied by African-Americans for the first time in American history. Is this fact celebrated by the African-American community? To an overwhelming extent it is not. Sadly, instead of these individuals being looked upon as success-stories and inspirations they are labeled Uncle Toms, traitors to their race. Why? Because they were appointed by a Republican president. Supreme Court justice Clarence Thomas, perhaps the courts strictest constitutionalist is also characterized as an Uncle Tom. Why? Because he holds conservative views.

Are prominent conservative African-Americans truly traitors to their race simply because of their political views and/or party affiliation or is their something deeper, more sinister occurring here.

Some African-American "leaders" tell their congregations, audiences, and constituencies not to even consider other points of view, not to vote in accordance with their morals, not to support school choice, not to vote to make the educational system accountable, and not to even consider the policies or positions of that other 'racist' political party. Just vote for whoever has a ‘D’ by their name. The 'African-American leaders' have already figured it all out for their folks. 'You need not think for yourself. If you try to... they may 'confuse' you. Everything that other party says that may make them look reasonable to you is smoke and mirrors... smoke and mirrors, you don't want to betray your race... you don't want to be an Uncle Tom, just vote for the Democrat.'

The Democratic Party is fearful of this core voting block being chipped away. Thus, the Democratic Party uses fear, ala accusations of Republican racism to keep its constituency in line. Democrats are deathly frightened that one day Africans-Americans may look at the Republican Party and not see racism, but instead see opportunities. They may see a way out of poverty and the inner cities, a way to escape the substandard schools. They may see moral stands that make sense, empower families and expect individual responsibility. They may see incentives for entrepreneurship instead of being offered handouts designed to trap them in a lifetime of government assistance. But many will never even look at these issues, lest they be branded Uncle Tom's and traitors by their own community leaders, by their own family members.

The young and elderly in America have a similar target on their back in accordance to the modern democratic party’s' modus-operandi of racism and fear.

Elderly Americans are pounded with messages of fear about the heartless Republicans. ‘The Republicans want to cut their healthcare. The Republicans will cut their social security checks, and eliminate them from the middle class. The Republicans want them to choose between food or medicine.’ In the 1990's eight years of democratic rule brought no relief to the prescription drug problem. It took a Republican administration.

America's youth has been given an equally dishonest promise from the Democrats this year. ‘Vote Republican and you will be drafted. You will be drafted and you will go to a pointless war and you... will... die..’ This lie is especially egregious because it is so absolutely absent of reality, yet the Democrats continue to drive the message, because it is the only message they have, fear.

Instead of offering a positive vision for a better America they offer fear, fear that is unfounded in truth but propagandized to mythical proportions.

I ask that you study the tactics and realities of the political landscape in America today and reflect. Reflect upon the campaigns, strategies, and actions of this current incarnation of the Democratic Party. Reflect on the stark realities and ask yourself a very serious question.

Just who is trying to keep who on the plantation?

Why, as a voting bloc, are they so gullible? I don't understand and I've never heard or read an explanation.

The dumbing down of America is a very real thing. You just have to talk to some of them on the left (many with college degrees)..... they just buy into it and believe the mainstream media. It really is frightening. They're almost like drones or something.

I have taught in an inner city high school for the last eight years. Our faculty numbers 175 extremely ultra-left wing RATS and about a dozen conservative Republicans. Of those just two are very conservative....myself and my best buddy, a retired airborne ranger Native American (Apache if it matters).

I have had students tell me that their parents had told them that Republicans wanted to bring back slavery (!!!) and to send them all back to Haiti. I have had students tell me that their parents have told them if they voted Republican they would be disowned and thrown out of the house. Well, they know that the voting booth is private, but they are unwilling to directly disobey in things like this.

Used to be cops and soldiers were very pro-American, especially very pro 2nd Amendment. But the secret agendas buried in curriculums across the land have consistently minimized the importance of the Bill of Rights and the true origins of the American Revolution. Traditional American values have been systematically wiped from the curriculums in favor of liberalization and globalism. Why? well if you don't know about something, you'll be unlikely to want to fight for it's preservation. You'll be ripe for programming. That's exactly what has happened.

The first thing I do each school year (I have been an educator in a large southern school system for over 15 years) is to ask my seniors if they know what the differences are between a subject, issue and agenda. ANYTHING and everything is a subject. When you discuss all sides of that it becomes an issue but when only one side is discussed that makes for an AGENDA and that is somebody's planned actions on how they want you to think and act. I demand my students question everything, especially me! I make them check the facts and find multiple sources for everything. I show them how they have been manipulated for their entire school lives by asking these two simple questions:

1. Has anybody ever told you anything GOOD about firearms?

2. Has anybody ever told you anything BAD about the United Nations?

I know I'm going to get negative answers to both questions. I always do. Then I tell them that they have been victimized by an AGENDA. I always see the lights go on as they realize the truth. I tell them that in fact shooting is not just an Olympic Sport, but a professional sport as well, where the athletes get paid top dollar to compete all over the world. I show them the pictures of ME in IDPA competition. I point out that the nations belonging to the UN are in fact nearly all run by dictators that brutally supress their peoples. Even our British "allies" and Canadian "allies" don't enjoy a Constitution that protects individual freedoms.

That's how I start the year. I progress from that point. So far, my year is progressing very well. My Bush hating democrats came to class so glum after the last debate. Their observations went like this: I hate Bush, I hope he LOSES, but I have got to hand it to him, he nailed it last night. He won that debate. Like I said, it's gonna be another good year.

The Demoncrats target various groups and use psycho tactics to raise fears. They are very skilled in the technique and people are very vulnerable. Fear is the easiest emotion to instill in an unsuspecting target.

It's easy to demagogue the uninformed.

As all sheeple become more informed, they are less easily herded by fear.

The Democratic propaganda machine, and the Democratic Party itself, could not survive without the maintenance of perpetual racism and poverty, and the preservation of permanent, disenfranchised, alienated underclasses and multiple generations of "victims" and "victicrats" in American society. Hence John Edwards' references to "two Americas." Do I hear intimations of "black rage" and "resisting representations" and other such liberal-socialist-leftist radical nonsense? The liberal defines "privatization" as "privation," "deprivation," and "corporate irresponsibility and greed." They appeal instead to Big Government/Big Brother/Nanny State, socialistic cures for everything, bottomless spending despite their pretenses to favor "budget surpluses" and "fiscal responsibility" are belied by their grandiose visions with unlimited price tags. "I like paying taxes - they purchase civilization" - Oliver Wendell Holmes. This attitude and practice have done nothing to eradicate poverty and poor education once and for all. I sincerely doubt the liberals' motives and their methods.
