I'd like to see John O'Neill, if he were willing after the election, be brought on various news / commentary / analysis programs to discuss the issues. He's a diamond.

Sobering conclusion.
But, then again, the "impartial" newscasters in the ABBCNNBCBS national press corpse have decided that this isn't important.
They're talking about the VP's daughter, trying to split Bush from the Christian supporters they (the MSM) hate even more.

Cute:
So, why did the Vietnamese gravestone photographed use American characters when it was marked up? It's got a mix of US and Vietnamese numbers that "almost" match a 12/2/1969 engagement.
Or do the Vietnamese use "our" letters all the time with their numbering system only when they want the tombstone photographed?

So...what I'm seeing here is an attempt on the part of ABC to knock CBS out of first place as the liberal and nuanced network of record..
First place? CBS, NBC, ABC, and CNN.......It's a dead heat, they are all the same with their liberal slant.

Thanks for the report, Sev. Much appreciated.

Want some Tony Chacherie's for that hat? :- )
Kidding aside, I was working the mid when this came on so all I have is Free Republic and a couple of sound bites. Koppel has shredded his reputation and dignity in this obvious attempt to boost Hanoi Johnny .It appears that Mr.O'Neill is taking him to school on levels Teddy never imagined.
It does certainly seem to indicate the Swifties have a series of October surprises for both Lurch and his enablers.

But who's side (Kerry (! as a "prep" for Koppel's show and the whole dnc convention?) or the Swifties/US/veterans) was the Swift boat vet in Vietnam representing? I caught a mention in all of my readings today that there is apparently a Kerry backer swift boat vet who works at the Vietnam embassy in DC ( something like that )...seems that any such trip to this village would begin there.
It would be impossible that one of the good SBVs made a voyage there without Kerry ( and then ABC ) knowing exactly who that guy is considering all of the documentation that it would require to make the trip and realizing that Kerry owns that access since he was able to place a bouncer/ID checker at the door.
Sounds very possible to me that the Kerry people gave the village a "prep" with the mystery man and it's at least possible that Koppel has been duped to some extent which would be easy since his sympathies already slant toward wanting to believe.
Koppel need only ask the Kerry people who the "mystery man" was and if there is no answer he should have the integrity to realize it was a Kerry operative.

Rush played some of the show in his 2nd hour monologue. If you are a member it is a must listen.

I didn't watch this, but heard parts of it on Rush. I was just fuming at how Ted treated him, and his closing statement was dripping in contempt for the Swift boaters and acting like the ABC team was doing it's duty to interview Communists for the truth! It was beyond disgusting.

The "interview a communist to support Kerry" trick isn't new:
It's been tried before. A previous TV news team interviewed VC and villagers a few months ago. No surprise, they supported Kerry as well.
But the media ignores the Swift boat vets.

The demeaning of America's morale... Why can't people see it's "an inside job?" The genesis being the activities of the American communists in the twenties and thirties. John Kerry has the endorsement of the Communist Party USA, and welcomed it. 'Nuff said here, preaching to the choir.

If what our shipmates over at SBVFT have on our hero has any traction and it turns out that he not only had an OTH or worse, I'll proudly... PROUDLY!... offer up the hat of your choice. :)
I am getting all swirly about this! The other part of this story is that, if shown to be true, reveals that Kerry has constructed a very, very good feignt with those posted records. It ain't what's there, its what AIN'T there.
Oh, Johnny, didn't you pay attention during your catechism? This is a sin of ommission, m'boy, and your NOT going to like your penance....

I just e-mailed O'Neill about that.....very interesting.
That is the money quote and makes me wonder what they have.
