If your still doing this, you can sign me up for 9:00am. Course I'll pray in between those times too. i agree, its important that we do this. Personally, I believed Jerry Faldwell's statement about Bush being chosen by God. I didn't think it was kookish at all.
To: Mister Mellow
You said that beautifully! My sentiments exactly! I pray for President Bush and our country throughout the day, every day. God Bless and keep President Bush!

There are so many people who do not realize that this is not just another election, even Christians. So much is at stake here. I will be praying throughout as I have been but if you see a need for a particular time slot to be filled let me know.

I'll be praying on and off every day, but sign me up for 7 am, 10/29
To: Blogger
I will pray from 5am to 6am central every day. I believe that this prayer thread has changed me as much as the elction. Is'nt that what it is really all about? A big thanks to all.

I am not a big fan of Jerry Falwell, but I agree that President Bush is the man for "Such a time as this". I believe that the last election was Devine intervention. I believe that this one will be too. We need to pray that God will give this country another chance. I believe that this election is close because God wants his people to humble themselves and call on His name. I have a real peace that everything is going to be just fine. BTW I'm a pessimist by nature.

I suppose I should say central time. I probably need to pray for 2 hours anyway.
But let's say 6 AM central time. I didn't specify in the other post! ;-)!
I pray God's Blessing upon all of us.
God Bless George W. Bush!
Thank-you Blogger!!!

Sorry, I can do the entire week also, at the same time frame. I also think that fasting and praying the last 72 hours is needed, and you can count on that.

I think even juice-fasting, or fasting from something you do often, that would be hard to give up (media, smoking, meat or some other main course) would be good. I've found juice fasting to be effective and difficult enough to make me pray, but not excruciating, but you have to prepare a bit by eating light, mainly fruit and veggies for a couple of days prior to doing it. That's why I mentioned it this early, as it may take some time to decide and prepare for some people.
I'll bring it back up about a week prior to the debate.

Will be traveling but will pray daily several times a day. God bless everyone. Remember the 2000 election--the left tried its utmost but did not prevail. I bit my nails but had a friend who remained serene throughout saying Bush would ultimately win. Let us pray this time that evil will be routed and we do not have to relive 2000.

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

I will join kittymittens at 2PM Central, which is the time I am pretty much guaranteed of not being bothered by phone calls, plus when I am babysitting my granddaughter it is when she takes her nap.

Oh...and I meant for the entire week.
To: Blogger
Please add me to the 6 a.m. slot as well.
