The Sinclair Broadcasting Group, a conservative broadcasting company that runs television stations in dozens of major television markets nationwide, has ordered its stations to preempt other programming and air an anti-Kerry program days before Election Day.

The so-called "documentary," called "Stolen Honor," was written, produced, and funded by extreme right-wing activists. Sinclair is using its reach to broadcast a blatantly political -- and false -- message while disguising it as "news."

And this isn't the first time the Sinclair corporate office has compromised the journalistic integrity of its stations. It ordered ABC affiliates not to air a nonpartisan tribute to our fallen U.S. soldiers, fearing the consequences for George W. Bush. It has refused to run a DNC ad that challenged Bush for citing faulty intelligence about Iraq. And Sinclair and its executives have contributed thousands of dollars to Republican causes -- and the CEO has given the maximum donation to Bush-Cheney 04.

Take Action Sinclair Broadcasting is using its television stations to disguise right-wing smears against John Kerry as news. The Democratic Party has filed a complaint with the Federal Elections Commission to protest this illegal corporate contribution to the Bush campaign.

But we need your help to stop this right-wing attack on John Kerry. An overwhelming outcry from the public may be the only way to stop Sinclair from forcing these smears onto the airwaves. There are two ways that we need to take action immediately:

If I recall correctly F9/11 is no longer listed as a documentary by the MPAA for Academy Award purposes. It too should be barred from airing before the election as a "propaganda piece"

Isn't Moore trying to get F911 shown on Pay Per View the night before the election? How is this different?

Thanks for the free advertising, jerks.

These men paid for the right to speak more than any American that hasn't given their life defending this country.

It appauls me that the DNC has the audacity to condemn this and villainize these POW's in the process. Kerry wont debate these facts because he wants the focus off of it. Kerry is such a tool. I hope he dissapears come Nov. 3rd.

let's see, whom shall I vote for. Such a dilemma!!! Kerry cronies, in his name, trash Republican headquarters all over the country, steal computers from them, try every trick in the book to commit voter fraud to cheat all Americans of their right to vote, squeal like crybabies whenever anything is said the least bit contradictory to their twisted views, want to change our culture to include depravity, resemble Communism in the most blatant ways, even try to take away freedom of speech, and the list goes on..........and on...........and on!!

George Bush is against all these things. And will keep America safe. Gosh what a dilemma!!!!! WHat country is this anyway?? It sure doesn't resemble the America I grew up in.

Please e-mail this DNC e-mail to the Sinclair Group. I'm sure they would love to discuss it on their 62 stations tonight along with a program about free speech and what it means.

"Fairheit 9/11 is a documentary, while this is a "so-called" documentary, in DNC-speak."

What a crock...

FNC/Linda Vester just had a piece on this that I sort of heard in passing. She talked with reps from both Sinclair and the DNC.

DNC rep offerred only the "party line" on the program and even went so far as to make a thinly veiled threat that if Kerry won, Sinclair would have troubles renewing their licenses...

Sinclair rep renewed their resolve and played up the fact that there is an open invitation to JFake to appear and answer the charges. He even stated that the offer made the program "open ended." While "Stolen Honor" runs 40 minutes, if the Fake appears, there is no time limit -- something to the effect that "...if it takes two hours, it takes two hours..." and they would run it all! Sounds pretty "fair and balanced" to me -- "Stolen Honor" runs and Kerry effectively gets as much free air time as he wants...

DNC guy had no worthwhile reply... as if one might expect any.

Seems to me that JFraud has gotten himself in a real jam -- he dodges O'Reilly like Bill had the plague, now he has to dodge Sinclair...

Oh, what a tangled web we weave....

(or is it more like the noose is tightening?)

But they are not former POWs accordig to the DNC. They are "extreme right-wing activists."

See the difference?

Yes, he is. He`s negotiating with "IN-Demand" for election eve airing. The rats will claim that "it`s pay-per view, if you don`t like it don`t order it, that`s on 'public' airways, it` sdifferent! sniff, whaaa whaaaaaa...!!!!"

Waaaaa Waaaa Cry me a river. What a bunch of babies. They can sling it but when they get hit back they run crying to their mommies. I guess I am part of the extreme right wing and I have a card to prove it. It says Victory 2004 from the Republican National Committee.

Yep. Kerry does not want to try to argue with vets, and knows that these folks know he was probably given a discharge in the 70's under other than honorable cirumstances. They will ask him to sign a 180 to release 31 pages that the navy has not released.

I contend those 31 pages are his original discharge and his requests to the navy to upgrade his original discharge.

The only difference between this showing on Sinclair stations and 60 Minutes is that the film is likely to contain MUCH more truth.

The liberal Dems always try to suppress free speech when the speech EXPOSES THEM AND TRUTH ABOUT THEM!!!! Yet, they squeal like the little liberal pigs they are...when ever they think the conservatives are manipulating free speech.

BRUTAL MASSIVE HYPOCRISY. SO WHAT'S NEW, RIGHT???
