MIAMI -- With just three Sundays left before Election Day, Sen. John Kerry is asking for all the help he can get from black voters and the Almighty.
The Democratic presidential nominee attended two church services Sunday, instead of his usual one, worshipping first with Haitian Catholics and then with black Baptists, where the Rev. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton tied his election to the civil rights struggle.
"We have an unfinished march in this nation," Kerry said at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, as many congregants waved fans handed out by the campaign with his slogan, "Hope is on the way."
"Never again will a million African Americans be denied the right to exercise their vote in the United States of America," Kerry promised, referring to the disputed Florida recount in the 2000 presidential race. As he often does before black audiences, Kerry said he has a legal team that will aggressively respond to any allegations of disenfranchisement.

One of them said, "I'm probably the best surgeon in Massachusetts because a patient of mine who is a concert pianist lost 7 fingers in an accident. I reattached them and 8 months later he performed a private concert for the Queen of England!"
The next one said, "That's nothing. I had a patient, a young man who lost both arms and legs in an accident. I reattached them and 2 years later he won a gold medal in field events in the Olympics."
The third surgeon said, "You guys are good but not at my skill level yet. Several years ago a fellow who was high on pot and alcohol rode a horse head-on into a train traveling 80 miles an hour. All I had left to work with was the horse's ass and a large nose; and now John is campaigning for president of the United States."
well now wait just one cotton picking minute...(no pun intended) I have nothing against black people for sure but I thought a catholic couldn't attend another religions church. Don't they frown on that andmore...and another thing...I know what that is the pastor is doing in that pic and I didn't think catholics believe in the practice of laying on of hands. Hey I might be wrong...Someone tell me if so.
maybe we should email the ACLU and ask them to look into this.
And you sir/madam have no brains. Putz.
LOLOL! That's good...I have to dig mine out now.
And let us not forget that Christianity in America has been sorely infected by the Communists...
hahaha!I wonder what the polls say regarding the black vote for Kerry and for Bush and what black vote in 2000 was for Gore and for Bush ?
Anybody have that info ???
I saw some data somewhere...I'll Google it. I believe Bush is already running 2x better with blacks in 2004 than in 2000...I directly attribute it to putting mostly conservative blacks in Cabinet level positions.
And Juan Williams.../s
ROFL !!!
I'm sending that one out on my email list.
ACLU, Americans United For Separation of Church & State? Where are you guys?
Recycled, but a goodie ......Lost Wallet
A guy was traveling through Mexico on vacation when, lo and behold, he lost his wallet and all identification.
Cutting his trip short, he attempts to make his way home but is stopped by the Customs Agent at the border.
"May I see your identification, please?" asks the agent.
"I'm sorry, but I lost my wallet," replies the guy.
"Sure, buddy, I hear that every day. No ID, no crossing the border," says the agent.
"But I can prove that I'm an American!" he exclaims. "I have a picture of Ronald Reagan tattooed on one butt cheek and a picture of George Bush on the other."
"This I gotta see," replies the agent. With that, Joe drops his pants and bends over in front of the agent. ! "By golly, you're right!" exclaims the agent. "Go on home to Boston."
"Thanks!" he says. "But how did you know I was from Boston?"
The agent replies, "I recognized the picture of John Kerry in the middle."
I don't want to see him in one. If he wants to attend worship services, sure, but to attend just for a political rally? That's not what church is for, and the President knows it.
Any Christian who supports him is guilty of his crimes and will be held accountable by God.
Oh please.
