ABC 'news' is not a credible news source.
This anger from the left means they're mobilized. Unwashed hippies and soccer moms standing on street corners or knocking on doors to hand out Kerry literature. The election is all about turnout now.
Among Bush supporters, derision and pity are the predominant emotions with regard to John Kerry...
Awwww...put some ice on it!
Something that bears repeating ..
there are NO undecided voters now. Any reports of undecideds are myths..or out and out distortions.
"50% of liberals angry with Bush"....REALLY?? How surprising!(tongue in cheek) Where is the Kerry post debate bounce?? They are focusing the article on the Michael Moore liberals anger???? Sounds desperate.
True, but we like to have a good laugh every once in a while :)
"ABC 'news' is not a credible news source"
You got that right but it sure points out that a good poll for Bush is turned into a negative story about "angry" liberals. Who gives a crap what these people think or feel? They would vote for Hitler if he was a Dem. vs. Bush.
~~MSM mocking ALWAYS ~~
What about those of us who are angry at j. fonda kerry?
And the margin of error is 2.5? So that is a beyond the MOE lead for Bush. If he were to win by 4%, or about 4 million votes assuming the turnout is around 100 million, like last time, then that would be a landslide compared to 2000!
Bush and Kerry even among independents? Sound like good news to me. Plus Bush leads by 14 among men and only trails by 5 with women? Remarkable. Taking that average then, shouldnt GWB's lead be larger? I wonder how they are skewing these numbers. Unless there is a new category of "other" along with women and men. Ha ha.
Also, President Bush leads in the electoral college which is what really counts.
This article is not based on their "snap poll". It is based on their daily tracking poll which they have been running now for a week or two with The Washington Post. The margin of error on this poll is 3%, so a 4 point difference as is the case here is just barely beyond saying its a tie. Bush lost three or four points following the first debate. It could happen again based on events in the world or an error by the President so better to not get overconfident based on polls. Read Michael Barone's article today on RealPolitics.com for discussion of polls and turnout.
Men peeing on Bush/Cheney signs and being caught, Liberals breaking into or shooting up B/C headquarters around the country, the animal-like behavior of liberals is appalling to civilized people. There are SOME civilized people in the Kerry camp, but they are being pushed away because of the reputation of being a Kerry/Edwards supporter. In a society where style means more than substance, we can expect B/C to pick up votes out of shear apathy from a "...I'm disgusted to be a part of a gang of thugs" population.
ABC:
Appeasing Blind Cowards
Now if the tables were turned and Kerry had a 4 point lead the headline would read "Kerry takes a commanding lead over Bush. Expect a landslide victory on Nov. 2"
I noticed that very thing...I saw that right after I read this one: POLL: Kerry Keeps Slim One-point Lead Over Bush
It's disgusting how biased the media is. Their attempts to control the public's perceptions is so obvious.
yesterday afternoon my 10 yo daughter and i were picking up my 15 yo and her friend from an upscale Mall in Northern VA. I have a bush cheney bumpersticker on the van of course. a 30 something well dressed couple in a BMW SUV was beeping their horn at me and pulled up alongside, rolled down their windows and started screaming BOOOOO BUSH, and doing the thumbs down. We just stared at them incredulously, then my daughters starting smiling and waving and doing the thumbs up sign saying GOOOOO Bush. This contined through several lights as we exited the mall and i finally rolled down the window and in the midst of his screed about the umpteen billion dollar deficit that he was ranting about, i said, Excuse me but you need to GROW UP. We were totally amazed at the entire incident. Title it "Libs come UNGLUED".
This Poll was conducted before the last debate. Expect a post debate bounce.
I believe you must double the MOE in this situation; a vote removed from one candidate is likely to go to the other. So technically this is within the MOE. Regardless, between this poll and Rasmussen's I feel confident that Bush does in fact hold a 3-4 point advantage.
