OG-BYN - Kerry flubs during debate

Let's post some of Kerry's big flubs during the debate. Did anybody else notice him saying OG-BYN. When he was talking about his fictional tort reform plan.

I wanted Bush to answer bak "Oh Gee, I have to go to the BYN!!

A mistatment like this is obvously a sign of a low IQ in a Republican and basic human nature in a Democrat. I mean it is not like they asked him how to spell potato.

My second favorite flub was when he couldn't come up with the word for a spinal cord injury or paralisis when talking about stem cell research.

Please post you favorite Kerry flub.

My favorite was when he accused President Bush of owning a lumber company!! LOL

I just went through the transcript and got 26 so maybe I missed some.

He said, "I HAVE A PLAN" at least 13 times that I counted and one "my plan".

In this one passage he said almost half of them:

I have a plan. I have a plan to lower the cost of health care for you. I have a plan to cover all children. I have a plan to let you buy into the same health care senators and congressmen give themselves.

I have a plan that's going to allow people 55 to 64 to buy into Medicare early.

And I have a plan that will take the catastrophic cases out of the system, off your backs, pay for it out of a federal fund, which lowers the premiums for everybody in America, makes American business more competitive and makes health care more affordable.

BTW, I never did hear "THE PLAN".

I just can't buy into that..FR is steadily growing in it's standing as "on the map". Stuff like this makes us look like petty idiots. OG-BYN or no, debate the substance and the message of the original volley. That is the battle. A flub? Waste of bandwidth and time.

Just remembered. I was watching Kerry's closing statement on C-Span, and the camera was the split screen view. Kerry got too close to where Pres. Bush was sitting and with his flailing arms, all of the sudden this VERY LONG ARM AND HUGE HAND came into the screen in front of Bush's face. It happened two times, maybe three, before they ended the split screen.

I used my "find" option in my Safari browser to search for the word "plan." I went through the whole transcript and marked down each time he said "plan." By the end of the transcript, I had a total of 31 marks on my piece of paper.

I am thrilled to read that others caught the flubs and other funny things I did while watching - OG-BYN, look into your gut, the stammers and pauses when trying to describe ETHICS regarding abortion and stem cell research.

It was grand to see Kerry at a loss for words and awkward when it's generally Bush who is regarded as a poor speaker. He did marvelous.

I was kinda hoping at that moment that he was going to refer to Christopher Reeve as a "cripple."

Imagine if a traitor, self-proclaimed war criminal and an accessory to the murder of 40 million children went down in flames because he used the word "cripple."
