Fox news' panel panned Bush's performance.....MSNBC praised his job tonight.....something is getting very curious, Alice !!
At least their panelists are on both sides of the issues, not the center and the left like FoxNews has become. A really sad day, as there is no true replacement for FoxNews, pre-2004.
Heh heh.... Colmes is a good guy, he has a tough job. He's basically just a devil's advocate who sets up guests for Hannity to slaughter. I like the sly grimace he gets, it's like he's holding back a laugh at times....
Ron Reagan is an absolute disgrace. To paraphrase Ted K's opponent in his first senate race, if Ron Reagan's last name was Wilson instead of Reagan his appearance on this panel would be joke.
Kristol's never been a big Bush fan. He was the same way four years ago.
WHY who are they trying to win over the libs?
Yes, Fox is pulling to the 'center' to attract more viewers, especially at a time when many people who often don't watch the news are tuning in. That will leave them with the impression that they are more centerist than they really are. This is the same thing that the other networks are doing, but in the opposite direction.
I have been watching less and less of Fox. I am totally disgusted with Bill O. Did you hear him today about Kerry appearing on his show. He is disgusting. I don't watch Hannity because I can't stand Colmes. Colmes is brain dead. Most of the time I like Brit. I try to catch his show everyday. I have been getting most of my news from the internet.
Fred Barnes who said Bush tied at worst and Mort Kondrake who said Kerry did better but a lot of what Kerry said will not meet the truth test tomorrow...so how can one lie in the debate and win?
ATTENTION Rupert Murdock and Roger Ailes. We made you and we can break you. If you want to throw your lot in with the elderly jumping ship from CBS have at it. WE WILL not forget this bait and switch. You want your liberals to like you or something. Well take your liberals and choke on them.
I found that rather interesting myself seeing as Kerry spent the evening repeating the same things he did in the last debate.
Pres Bush shared from his own soul why he made decisions and what he believes for America. Sen Kerry shared his constant tearing down and criticizing of Pres Bush. Then he would say IHAP. Over and over.
I may soon switch to MSNBC...at least you know if you hear crap from MSNBC you can write it off. With Fox it is the old axiom and Biblical proverb that "..the arrows of a friend..." hurt the deepest.
Its too heart breaking to watch a channel and support a channel that is betraying their original purpose and the base the migrated to them to hear a fair shake for conservatives. And if they became blaantly conservative, as far as I am concerned, thats even better. There is no fair and balance when dealing with the truth...Its the truth and nothing else...
Sorry to disagree, but FoxNews has gone left of center (except for Sean). A cable news stations worthy of Freepers no longer exists.
I think they're trying to win over libs because right now they have a chance to appeal to them. The liberal networks are fawning over Bush for the exact same reason: they're trying to lure in conservatives, and make them think, 'You know, the networks really aren't so bad'.
Kristol has already said in the NY Times several weeks ago that he and the rest of the NeoCons can do business with Kerry. Kristol is interested in his own agenda, which will continue regardless of who wins, and could not care less about Bush.
What took you so long?
Bill Kristol wanted Bush to dump Cheney as VP in favor of Condi Rice. Kristol also backed Colin Powell before the 2000 Republican primaries got under way. He said Powell was the only Republican who could beat Albert Gore.
Kristol's conservative credentials are zero. He's a David Gergen Republican.
For about 3 years my morning ritual was a cup of Joe and I would get on the Fox News homepage.
The last 6 months I have been getting on Drudge and haven't looked back. The liberals have started to get to Fox the way they got to our educational systems.
Same here I pretty much gave up on the drivel they put out night after night.
I couldn't figure Bill Kristol out either.
Kondracke was on target.
Barnes could have come out stronger on the point that the President kept putting it out there for the whole nation to see -- look at Kerry's 20 year voting record in the Senate.
The only thing that Bush still needs to do is point out that Kerry even voted against the war when it was Bush 1 when Saddam Hussein attacked Kuwait. He'll do it in the next debate!
