Bill Ballenger (one of the pundits I respect) - Kerry won the first half of the debate going away - Bush got stronger later on and might have pulled a draw.

And I would place it exactly with opposite with Bush being stronger early instead of later.

No way. Bush won every round.

The most politically significant portion was the way he killed Kerry on jobs.

That is THE top issue in the key swing states.

Gotta disagree with Bill here. Bush took control with facts, not lies and distorted numbers. When a candidate resorts to number dropping and name dropping to support a position, they have nothing but horse droppings left.
