Gotta disagree with Bill here. Bush took control with facts, not lies and distorted numbers. When a candidate resorts to number dropping and name dropping to support a position, they have nothing but horse droppings left.

I'm leaning toward it being a draw. Granted I'm more cautious on these. Bush did much better, but he did not knock him out. Kerry did well too, even though he's a jackass. The "Win the Peace" shots wern't returned effectively, and no one is going to buy the perscription drugs explanation. Outsourcing wasn't countered at all yet. That's his top weakness.

Bush did well on the tax issues and might have helped a bit on jobs. He did well on Kerry not showing up to work, and hit him on the inconsistancies of Johnny. The senate record was finally attacked as well.

--------

ROFL. Radio commercial right now bashing Kerry raising social security taxes, against marriage penalty relief, and gas tax.

Name dropping is the exact phrase that came to mind when Kerry mentioned Christopher Reeve was a friend of his. I couldn't help but laugh when he did that.
