Mort seems pretty disgusted with Kerry, doesn't he?

Yep. He had an Op-ed in the SD Union Tribune the other day about how the majority of the mud-slinging in this campaign is coming from HIS side, not the President's. (ours.) I was kind of... amazed. I guess he's one of those "conservative liberals" that come around as much as the chupacabra.

The important thing to do, as was a failure in the prior two debates is to immediately seize the offensive. Both Kerry and Edwards put our guys on the defensive, and as such they do not have enough time to rebut the ridiculous utterings of the Rats. Edwards was not successful with his offense, but enough so to survive. Kerry stayed on such a roll that Bush was flabbergasted at only having 90 seconds to rebut. You could also see this with Cheney when Edwards jumped on Halliburton.

So, the key is to start with Kerry's Senate voting record and never let up. With 20 years in the Senate, there has to be controversial votes on anything that could come up. I think Bush was taxed from the hurricane disaster viewing, and a bit of front-runnerism. Now, it is time to come out swinging, but it is important to not look petty or desperate. He has to look above it all, and use his innate sense of humor, but still bring out the hammer.
