"Bush is not allowed to ask Kerry questions, and the format might make it look like Bush is dodging the question to bash Kerry. In any case, he has to be clever about it."
Q: Pres. Bush, what our you doing for our children's education?
A: Vouchers, standardized tests, and fighting the War on Terrorism to protect our children from a Beslan-like tragedy. Our troops on the ground in Iraq uncovered plans of schools. These plans would have been missed if we were not in Baghdad, and shows the terrorists are concentrated there. I will continue to fight the terrorist on their turf, rather than the school yards of America.
Q: Pres. Bush, what are you doing about the economy?
A: Tax cuts, incentives, etc. And I am waging the War on Terrorism so that another 9-11 or worse does not happen. 9-11 damaged our financial, airline and tourism markets. Money has been spent on rebuilding, taking away from other concerns. Our economy depends on a consistent and steady War on Terrorism.
Q: Pres. Bush, what about health care?
A: I passed the medicare prescription drug benefits. Insurance reform, TORT reform against the ambulance chasing lawyers. And I am steadily fighting the war on terror to prevent biological or radiological actacks.

Edwards has avoided paying $600,000 on medicare taxes, and Kerry's wife only pays tax at an effective rate of 15%. They should pay their fair share before they expect others to pay more.I agree. I just think that the economy always scares college kids about to enter it.

Not to change the subject but W will be in Hobb's New Mexico this coming Monday. They expected 6,000 but have given out 30,000 tickets first day and still counting. Hobb's population is only 30,000.

Thanks for the ping, Howlin. I don't think I can watch the debate because it'll just get me even more depressed.

Don't know about you guys but my nerves are shot. I won't be watching the debate live but I will be supporting Bush in spirit. I hope he takes it to Kerry and 'undresses' him in front of the public. I'll check FR before deciding if I want to watch the replay.
I almost feel the same way.
I was thinking about having the debate on, but the volume turned down while I listen to jazz and drink beer....
Maybe I'll just put it on Closed Caption so I don't have to hear Kerry's voice.
And I can read comments here to see how Freepers think it's going.

LOL!!
This is just too much. I don't know how President Bush does it - the weight of our country's future is at stake this election.
FYI - I know this isn't shocking but President Bush will carry NC by at least 8 points. Burr may win the Senate seat as well.
I can't stand it. It's difficult to watch Kerry disrespect President Bush and this country every day. It really is.
To: don-o
I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR BUSH TO ASK KERRY ABOUT HIS CHANGES IN IRAQ...I would have loved when kerry gave his 12 th different answer last week for Bush to have said "Is that your final answer?"
To: Orange1998
I'm pulling for both GWB and the Minnesota Twins tonight.
And I'm sad to say I'm bracing for it to be a very long, difficult night on both counts.
