I hate living in western Oregon and am seriously contemplating moving to another part of the country.
I prefer more sunshine, less cloudy days and a conservative majority.
Any advice is kindly regarded.
Where in Bama? My brother-in-law speaks highly of Huntsville.
There's still a lot of conservative strongholds out here in the boondocks of Pennsy.
I actually lived in Chicago, before I didn't live in Chicago(anymore).
You need to seriously consider Wyoming. Cheyenne is a very livable city with a decent mix of recreation, mountains, and cities nearby (Ft. Collins is 35 minutes away and Denver is only 100 miles away). Yes, it does get windy here at times but the low taxes, low crime rate, low population, and conservative family values present make this a worthwhile move. Other favorites of mine include Sheridan, Lander (awesome scenery), Riverton, and Buffalo. Send me a private response if you want more information - can help!!
Sounds like Santa Fe?
Ah Savannah. My uncle was pastor of a church in Savannah Beach, and later Statesboro. I always thought Savannah was such a beautiful city!
I was born in Eugene, Oregon and raised in Portland. Moved to California and have been complaining about the traffic ever since.
We've decided to relocate to Western Kentucky. Low cost of living, nice people, and as green as Oregon....
Only within the City Limit of Austin do you see environmental wackos, socialists of all stripes, and what not.
The Democrats, with a few exceptions, outside of Austin are fairly conservative and decent folks. You can argue with them and retain your sanity.
I live in Cedar Park, just outside NW of Austin, and it is heavily Republican!
Arizona dude. East valley. Great weather (except for 4-5 months of heat), 364/365 sunny days a year(almost) and BUSH COUNTRY!!!
Funniest damn bio page I've ever seen!!
What in Texas do you live?
I didn't notice any mention of California or Massachusets or however you spell it (wonder why!).
If I could choose any place to live, the hill country would be it. It is beautiful. Truly.
Honey you need to go to Texas.
New Braunfels, TX. 32 mi from San Antonio, most beautiful park and river in the world (IMHO, calling it my childhood hometown).
Virginia!
Beautiful weather. You have four distinct seasons, but no terribly horrible winters. The beach and the mountains are both within a 2-hour drive if you live in the central part of the state. History...the history of Virginia is practically the early history of the nation. Friendly people. And last but not least, respect for values and a conservative majority.
I love the Springs>
EVERYTHING IS BIG IN TEXAS....even your posts!!
I love the fact that so many Texans have such pride in their home state.
Texas Cajun has it right.
Too many college smarties in Austin.
Too many Mesicans in the Valley.
Very congenial to conservatives. Well, the White part anyway. You may need to stay behind walls at times, but still...very nice place!
You must love it, I hear gay rape is up a 1000%
