WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Sen. Zell Miller cracked up the crowd today with his proposed remake of "The Wizard of Oz."
Skipping down the Yellow Brick Road with Dorothy, the Georgia Democrat said during his videotaped address at a luncheon sponsored by the Palm Beach Republican Club, should be:
- Sen. John Kerry as the Scarecrow, searching for a brain.
- Michael Moore as the Cowardly Lion, who needs courage.
- George Soros as the Tinman, who lacks a heart.
"That story was the best part," one guest was overheard marveling to another as the happy crowd filtered out of the auditorium.
Do we even need to ask who should be the "Wicked Witch of the West"?
Republican Convention Protesters as Flying Monkeys
Give 'em Hell Zell !
No, Kerry is the toothless, old, cowardly lion, while Moore is the world's fattest scarecrow.
One of the actors in the movie version was the uncle of former Congressman Bob Dornan. Was it Bert Lahr?
I was thinking of Soros more as the Wizard himself, as in "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!"
Kinda fits the situation better, as Soros is pulling Kerry's strings, and will own a President Kerry.
Would that mean that the Presidency is being outsourced to France or Hungary?
Moore makes himself a target because it would be impossible for him to hide anyways. He`d need something the size of a grain silo that he could carry around. It`s logistically impossible.
Edwards = Toto
The scarecrow?
The next POTUS and First Lady?
ROTFLMAO!!!!!!
This is just too funny..........come on over........
Terayza must be her sister
Somehow I see Kerry as the Cowardly Lion.
The actor to whom you refer to is Jack Haley, the tin man in the wizard of Oz,who was related to Bob Dornan.
Now SHE looks like Bert Lohr! Just put a tail on her. (And a mustache).
Zell!
You have a place of honor at our table this Thanksgiving.
