Bill O'Reilly suggested today on his radio show that President Bush should apologize at the Presidential debate Friday for no Iraq WMD. If the President Bush did this in the way that O'Reilly wants him to, the President would be making a major gaffe. I could see the sound bites. President Bush has NOTHING TO APOLOGIZE FOR. Also, O'Reilly says that Bush has to clearly win Friday or its over. He keeps on saying that the race is tied. IMHO, O'Reilly is spinning on several fronts: At the very least he is trying to get Kerry on his show, so he is pandering. The Electoral College Polls shows the President with a sizable lead. National Polls mean little. O'Reilly knows if the President says I am sorry for Iraq it would be political suicide. Again, think of the soundbite the Democrats would have. This would help Kerry. The President on Friday night needs to address Kerrys record and recent Global Test statements. So why OReilly on his radio program the day before the Presidential debates is highlighting the Iraq WMD instead of focusing on Kerrys record? He is doing this because thats the only hope Kerry has. If OReilly was really a no spinner and WAS LOOKING OUT FOR YOU he would have STRESSED SUBSTANCE OVER STYLE and endorsed President Bush after Kerrys Global Test and other policy statements after the last debate. So deep down, O'Reilly is rooting for Kerry. The latest Iraq WMD report clearly shows t that Saddams endgame was to get the Sanctions lifted and then restart his WMD programs. According to the report, SADDAM WANTED NUCLEAR WEAPONS!! Its the intent. Thats why Saddam had to be removed form power. I also, believe that the WMD were moved into other countries, like Syria.
Well E.D. Hill is a democrat and she even admited it. I don't mind her that much - I get a little bit tired of her but she's not as bad as the liberal talking heads on the other stations. The bad thing is Fox and Friends seems to be seriously worried about their reputation as a conservative station and are trying desperately to become attractive to liberal viewers. You can tell because now they are afraid to talk about half the stuff they did before. And they seem to be attacking the Repubs more than they ever did. Ever since the convention and they got protested they are starting to turn into cowards. I am surprised because the last time they were protested a few years ago by the liberals they were tough and even had a message for them on their outside news ticker. They are starting to become stupid. They should stick to their guns and stay the way they always were. That is why their ratings are good. If they continue this way they are going to lose viewership BIG TIME!
Why should he apologize for protecting the people of this country. I guess if I was in his shoes, I'd tell the ungrateful people in this country to kiss my Texas a--, go back to Texas and tell Kerry, fine you do it. But he won't cause he loves his country. This country doesn't deserve a fine President like him. Sorry for my rant. I just don't understand why people don't realize how much George Bush loves his country and its people.
O'Really is trolling sound bites through the MSM trailer park... hoping to catch a big one.. He's just wasteing gas and plowing the liberal ocean.. When he returns to the dock, could be very few will be there to greet him... Hes destroying his base of conservative listeners.. Liberals are too lazy to go down to the dock to buy his fish and he don't deliver.. His fish are old, small and dried up anyway..
O'Blowhard (aka The Leprechaun) just lost whatever credibility he had remaining. You don't judge any effort on the basis of hindsight. What matters is the information and decision criteria applied to them at the time. No one is questioning the information available at the time (other than questioning it in hindsight), and no responsible individual is questioning the decision criteria used.
Maybe O'reilly needs to apologize to we Republicans for his birth. Bush/Cheney 2004 Oh yea! O'reilly is an idiot.
I didn't know she admitted to being a Dem. If they would replace her with Kiran or Julia it would be a much better show. Brian and Steve do a good job to me, she just gets on my nerves...but she is still better than Katie or the other alternatives.
No what he ought to do is FIRE every GD Intel person who was involved in supplying the false data.
And then out them to the PUBLIC so that they can live in scorn amoungst their neighbors.
Yep, FoxNews came in second in the ratings after the first debate. They used to be first all the time.
I want O'Reilly to apologize for being a dumb ass. Doubt I'll get to see that.
Of the last 33 polls on RCP (3way), 1 shows Kerry ahead. None of the polls taken exclusively in October show Kerry ahead.
That being said, a strong debate performance would be nice.
O'Reilly should appologize for daily polluting the airwaves.
From where does O'Reptiley, the snake, air his show-station, "HISS"?
Yes she is a Dem. But she is pretty logical in her way of thinking. She never bashes Bush and seems to be more middle of the road than hard left. To give her credit, if anyone is a fair and balanced democrat E.D. Hill is.
The stupid DUmmies think we should apologize to Sadam and let him go now. They actually have a thread that Iraq wasn't so bad. They've been drinking the Michael Moore KoolAid.
I wish Bill would shut up. Glad we stopped watching him months ago.
This is the reason that I don't watch Bill O'Reilly anymore. His grandstanding has gotten tiresome.
There are some very appropriate keywords with this thread!
Not accurate. It is a very narrow lead at best, and quite vulnerable. In addition there will be voter fraud approaching 3rd World levels on Nov 2 which will greatly affect matters against our favor. And the way the Dem 527s have agitated Blacks to attack GOP HQs already, if this election is again decided like 2000, there will be riots which will make South Central look like the Jerry Springer Show.
Really?
In that case, I'd like it to rain beer on Friday night.
