Idaho and the county attempted to try him for murder and Fed maneuvering protected him. Any of his family or friends could have plugged him before or after his indictment. No, these guys are safe among their own and they know it. If their bosses can get rid of the 2A on a treaty pretext, a LOT of people are going to die, but I don't think there will be appreciable fragging in the ranks.
