Stern's steadily
lost market share for years. In some major markets, Stern is no longer heard altogether. You can't blame losing affiliates on offensive content alone. Stern just isn't as popular as he once was, and his popularity continues to shrink. Statistically, Stern has jumped the shark. The only thing Stern hasn't done to make it official is he hasn't added
Ted McGinley or
Robbie Rist to the show.
Now Stern/Sirius thinks that asking customers to pay for his program will increase his market share?
Either Sirius has lower expectations for Stern ratings, or Sirius has lost their mind.

If you don't like him, all radios are equipped with this thing called a tuning dial.
You can change the station. You can even turn it off. Many radios are often packaged with a CD player or tape player, so one can pop in a tape or CD with music or an audio book...
So why the heck is it that you feel the need to say "take it off the air"? Did you forget how to change the station, put in a CD/tape, or turn the thing OFF?
