Joe Lockhart is working for Hitlery. I bet hes secretly saying, all going according to plan, Mrs. Future President.

that's it? that's all you said? you didn't say how much i love him and think he is fantastic? how COULD you! ; ) No time. I'm just lucky I got the quick the handshake as the secret service got him out of there.

"Cheney could just clarify he never met Edwards in a real senate capacity."
Cheney's inaccuracy is the gift that keeps giving. Anything the Edwards campaign says to counter it just draws more attention to the substance of Cheney's point-- Edwards was never a working senator.
Dick Cheney, zen master, samurai warrior.

Kerry vs Limbaugh! OUCH!!!!!

I thought Edwards brought it up right before Gwen's question about aids.
To: Krodg
Looks very much photoshopped to me. VP Cheney and his wife are praying. Why would the Senator be in that awkward position. It doesn't even look real.

ao khunGee, any Freeper who passes through the land of Angkor Wat is going to have to stop off at your place for a beer, for sure.

Look at the picture closely. Looks to me like Edwards has been inserted into the picture.

Kerry's idea for a ban on the bunker busters was, to me, the most shocking idea he has had yet. I thought much more would have been made about that, but there has been almost no mention of it.That and wanting to arm Iran with nuclear fuel.

Ever since the runup to 2000, when I heard Cheney speak some, I decided I would MUCH rather have him as President than Bush. I never thought of it that way. I always considered that the two men brought different backgrounds and perspectives to the office, and therefore, they complemented each other. I respect Mr. Cheney very much, but I look at him as more a "behind the scenes" man. Bush, on the other hand, has been on the political battlefield building coalitions. That's part of the presidential process, also.

Sorry I am late to respond; you are right, few of us responded to you (haven't been to the end of this thread yet). Yes, unfortunately people respond more to the negative. That is no surprise.
I will say that I was a bit too harsh in my disagreement with you, but I still think you were too harsh in your judgement of the President.
I don't remember you in particular being too harsh to me in the Bush debate thread, but I know that numerous poster had a fit that I dare claim Bush did a bad job and lost the debate.
As it turns out, I was right. Dick Morris was just on FOX saying Bush was "awful" in the first debate. Most commentators on both sides say so. Bush himself said he thinks he performed badly.
I didn't respond much to anyone after about halfway through the debate. The system was too slow and went down a couple of times for me.
Yes, I had to abandon that thread for the same reasons.

Cheney absolutely won. Cheney did an awesome job. He had Edwards beaten in every way.
