Rest in Peace Rodney!
I had a lot of respect for you. You helped me laugh on those bad days where everything went wrong.

Too bad, funny, funny man. No really big-hearted man is afraid to laugh at himself and Dangerfield laughed at himself for a living. I'll miss his humor.

That was Henny Youngman. He didn't give Rodney no respect either.

Wrong comedian. That was Henny Youngman. Rodney got no respect, even in death.

I was reading on Sunday that he had the most appearances on the Tonight Show since he would often do impromptu appearances.

He's got a joke in his autobiography where he says he goes to the doctor and the doctor tells him that he has good news and bad news. He asks the doctor just to give him the good news. The doctor says, "Okay. They're going to name a disease after you."
To: TalBlack
I remember seeing him on Ed Sullivan when I was about 4 yrs old and I asked my father 'whats the matter with him'? I thought he was sick or something! Amazing insight for a four year old. He had Graves Disease, which is an autoimmune hyperactive thyroid. Besides the thyroid, the immune system also attacks the eyes, and a buildup of tissue occurs in back of the eyes, causing them to bulge out. Marty Feldman had it too (Igor of "Young Frankenstein").

Nice catch Bloody! Thanx. I'm the best outfielder we've got 'round here. Just in time for the playoffs.
