It just so happens that I have a report (somewhere) from the last year of Clinton, that claims there were 44 million at the time he left office. Considering that we've added at least 1 million illegal aliens in the last 4 years, I'd say the Bush record is very good.

You're right--we add new people to the list and others fall off as they get jobs with benefits. And of course no one ever has the guts to come out and say that maybe people need to be responsible for themselves...Americans drink, smoke and sleep their way into 75% of their health problems. Why should I pay for that?

You go girl. I agree. If people wanna Big Mac themselves into a heart attack then why should I subsidize. It's free will and choice baby.

Yep...and here's the Clinton White House report (below). Interesting that they even claim there were 44 million uninsured. Now Edwards claims Bush added 5 million, bringing the total to 45 million. Another Democrat lie:

CLINTON-GORE ADMINISTRATION UNVEILS MAJOR NEW HEALTH INSURANCE INITIATIVE

January 19, 2000

Today, President Clinton will unveil a 10-year, $110 billion initiative that would dramatically improve the affordability of and access to health insurance. The proposal would expand coverage to at least 5 million uninsured Americans and expand access to millions more...Over 44 million Americans lack health insurance."
