Don't be fooled by all the ridiculous screaming cheerleaders and koolaid brigade, Edwards performed well, he's a good liar and lawyer, has landed some blows, and somewhat blunted a few of what could have been devastating attacks from the VP.
Luckily the VP for the most part was also on his game, was aggressive, and at times quite well at exposing some of the lies and techniques of the Dems. Good mix of defense and offense from the VP, but also effective change-the-subject bullcrap multitopic bombardment of lies from Edwards. Overall I'd score it advantage Cheney, the Dems did not improve their situation, but didn't lose much either, being able to hammer out many of their repeated myths without having them refuted and exposed one by one.
Probably result will be a slight rebound strengthening of the GOP numbers, and little change in the Dem numbers. We're probably still at about a 5 pt. lead.
"Cheney looked arrogant, looked tired, stumbled, looked upset..." Both Bush and Cheney looked liked angry young men...I was aghast and shocked!"
McAuliffe sounds like a man crying to keep his job. LoL!
I see that the VP's success has you chewing the carpet again.
Yeah, like Kerry voted for tax cuts 600 times. Oh man, we're cooked. These guys are tax cutting fools. They've stolen the main Republican issue right out from under us. What are we going to do? :^)
