As a public school teacher, I feel it sets a terrible example to the children of America for a presidential candidate to openly break the rules of debate in front of 55 million people who took this seriously enough to watch late into the night.
Also this is the official N.E.A. candidate. I wonder if the great ultra liberal teachers union will demand an explaination or an apology. I wonder how many high school civics classes had watching the debate as a homework assignment for class discussion the following day. Also how many lib. teachers spun a great Kerry debate victory in class next day.

even if it was a love note from Teresa, it wasn't permitted by rules and sends wrong message to kids.

...mine for one...will have to wait a few days, but will be interested to see how this develops...believe me, if it does, my class will watch the tape...

My 6th grader had to watch it for social studies homework. He also wrote a very nice synopsis of the debate, afterward :)
