Rasmussen says he has picked up a 1 point swing toward Kerry in Friday and Saturday interviews. That strikes me as more credible, and in line with Democracy Corp (Carville and Greenberg-- snakes, but they do fairly good polling)poll showing a 2 point swing.

Plenty of time left, and the "global test" attack will bite. Cheney needs to pound Edwards, and is perfectly capable of doing it.

All the negative opinions on this board are overblown. Like baseball, in a political campaign, you are never as bad as you look on your worst day, never as good as you look on your best day.

Bush did OK-- not great, but OK. He gave Kerry nothing to use going forward, Kerry gave us a lot-- in addition to the "global test" gaffe, how is nuclear fuel for the mullahs in Iran going to sound?

The only thing that really concerns me is the late and weak response to the BS draft rumors. I think this is capable of hurting us in one of our strongest demographics married women with children. We need to get someone credible, like Tommy Franks, to get out there and say we don't need no stinking draftee army!!
