If this is a legit with no touch up, I'd say Kerry will atleast have to explain what it was. This is pretty darning (no swearing) stuff.

Someone other that Jim Larrrrr had to have access to the questions. Who had access and if so did they provide the questions to Kerry? It is definitely something to read that he took out of his jacket pocket. And you can see him reference something in the same location he placed the Notes. Looks as though the democrats have been caught again - Lies, Lies, Lies and more lies from the party that is and has been proved to be the liars of record.

I did not have notes As he shakes his finger at the questioner.

Smart debaters turn those questions to their advantage if they're prepared. Bush wasn't prepared.

Bush did about as well as he could with the loaded questions. Unless one knows the specific and exact wording of a loaded question one is going to be asked, it isn't really possible to prepare; an answer which would be very good for one particular loaded question may be very bad for a slightly-different one.

Besides, one of Kerry's points is that Bush is a vindictive man who just wanted to settle his personal grudge with Saddam. I think Bush wanted to show that he's not petty and vindictive; in so doing, he helps defuse Kerry's portrayal.

Master 'baters turn questions around.

Leaders do more than talk - they win wars against our sworn enemies.

I think I know how I will vote - America will follow.

Oh, and Kerry cheated.

"What's worse?" /kerry

Stick to the topic.

The topic of the post I was answering was biased questions.

If you want to gripe, gripe to the poster I responded to.

Okay, I'm new to this thread, but when you watch the rest of the debate does it look like Kerry is ever glancing down at notes?

I reject the watch idea because he had the lights in front of him, so what's the purpose of a watch.

He definitely looked down at whatever he took out of his pocket and did seem to unfold it a bit later.

But in later clips, can he be seen looking down as if reading notes????

Maybe he won't bring it up campaigning. But he could stick it to Kerry in the next debate.

" You are asking the our Country to trust you. How can they trust you to run a War on Terror when you cheat at something as important as a Presidential Debate? "

Could be but---No matter what it was he was breaking the rules. They had agreed to bring "nothing" to the lectern.

Oh sure there were rules!

But you people are being so . . . so exact, specific, picky!

Look I'm from Boston! We've known The War Hero Monsieur Jean Kerry a long, long time.

I'm sure his response to you would be the same as it was the the city workers who came to move the fire hydrant from in front of HIS house to in front of his NEIGHBOR's house:

(assume fake accent as when speaking before Congress in 1971):

DON'T YOU KNOW WHO I AM ??????????

What's the phrase from Recount 2000? Hypertechnical application of the law?
