What could we expect from a lefty Canuckian? ROTFLMJO!!
Darling Chad was on after the debate. Hannity kept asking him to address some of Kerry's comments. Chad kept insisting he was only going to talk about STYLE. I kid you not. And he would not address a single question from Sean. Just kept repeating the Kerry won on STYLE.
Not sure because I didn't hear it myself, but IMUS had Lehrer on his show the morning after and made mention of the softball questions he gave to Kerry.
>"Anything to the rumor that the Washington Post is going to endorse Bush? Anyone?"
Not after Bush's performance in the first debate.
Yes, Fred Hiatt - Ed.page editor want to endorse Bush. There was a heated argument about it. Leonard Downie Jr - Post executive editor & Michael Getler - Post ombudsman are stepping down in 2 months. This is per an inside info. Will become clear shortly as days go by.
Only worth reporting if it's bad news on the war front.
Click, I turned off the TV.
Thanks for the link.
Yep, I watched and I have to say .. so far it is one of the most boring Sunday shows I've seen *L*
Good Grief .. how many times can they talk about the looks Bush gave
Yeah, it sounds like a very good Sunday to miss the shows and that's exactly what I'm doing.
Next week will start getting back to normal. I would suggest to all you troll lurkers that you enjoy it while you can.
Here's a Navy veteran who wouldn't vote for Kerry under ANY circumstances! I will proudly mark my ballot for W on Nov. 2.
I wonder if the Newsweek push poll will energize the Republicans, or the Democrats.
"Being at the mercy of mother nature and all it's destruction of life and property, it gives you new prospective on a Kerry Presidency, and how we would be dealing with 10 times the fury of Ivan,Jeanne,Frances, and Charley...."
Good point, samantha. Glad you have your power back, BTW.
Yes, I remember now that you mention it. There was a thread around here about Imus asking Lehrer about those questions, and Lehrer responding: "I have no idea what you're talking about.".
"...then Kristol said with his hideous smirk that if the war goes badly then Kerry will win."
I am glad I missed that. I've had enough crappy negativity this week to last a lifetime. Thanks for telling me though.
Maybe we ought to start calling him Dangling Chad. Oops, I guess I took the b***hy pills this morning. It is becoming harder and hander to keep anything on my stomach when I see a Kerry/Edwards spokesperson.
Well the Cheney/Edwards debates are on Tuesday ... I wonder if the elite media will make fun of the way Edwards' talks like they do with President Bush?
It will re-energize the Republicans who were starting to think the election was over. Complacency will cost us this election. We must campaign like we are ten points behind, right up until election day.
BTW, if you haven't seen this one, it's just a tad enlightening:
Lehrer's Bias in Presidential Debate- note the novel he wrote on this subject

From the review at amazon:
At Williamsburg, Va., a few weeks before election day, Bible-quoting, media-savvy Republican David Donald Meredith will debate an all-but-defeated Democratic challenger. But newspaperman Michael J. Howley, the debate moderator, and the panel of questioning journalists so fear the consequences of Meredith's impending presidency that they conspire to ruin him by dispensing with the set debate format and ambushing Meredith with damning, unpublished documents in Howley's possession. After the debate, the panel members become controversial media superstars.
Good to remember the 3-day news cycle. By Monday afternoon the focus should start to shift from this last debate to the VP debate.
