no incumbent leding the last week of Seotember has ever lost. And I dont think any incumbent who was leading ever lost because of debates.
Especially when Bush didn't make a single gaffe in the debate. I want to see the other polls before I jump off a cliff with the pessimists here.

Bush did make a gaffe. He didnt respond and didnt attak Kerry.
