True.
where was cameron kerry? he has a past history of these break-ins
It will be tough pinning this on Rove if they do.

46% Kerry
45% Bush
02% Nader
Thanx for the PING, Rutles.
Seems like it's true: the Left can do anything without fear of reprisal or punishment. The MSM will back them, and nothing will come of it.
I feel for the WashGOP. Their campaign has just been compromised, and there's no way to recover what was lost.
The only computers missing were those with data critical with the campaign. Anyone who thinks this wasn't a surgical strike is nuts, or Leftist.
Welcome to FR
things a little slow at DU these days?
In some polls Bush is close, in others he's far behind.
As a Washintonian, I think we have a very good shot at Governor and an outside shot at Senate, but if Washington goes Bush, he's gonna have won 40+ States, so what difference would it make?
Well, the question is--to what extant do the plans in the WA office reflect Republican plans in other states? I think that Terry McAuliffe et. al. may not be directly responsible for this or Rathergate, but have created such a hostile environment that they are practically inviting their people to do anything, including illegal acts, to help their guy win.
I certainly hope that Rove has enough democrat in him (I know, "what a nasty thing to say") to consider planting a fake plan, some forged (but easily disprovable) documents right where a couple of ultra-left wing, Bushaphobic zealots would look. The scumbags steal them, act on their contents and get badly burned and Rove takes the credit.

I've been to the office, a friend of mine, Tom Roberts, works there. It might not be the RNC national headquarters, but it is the headquarters of Bush's Washington State campaign operation, and it is VERY important and hardly something to be shruged off.
The question is, "Does Kerry have a band of burglars?"
First campaign ends in defeatTo win the primary, the newcomer overcame the election eve arrest of his brother, Cameron, and campaign field director Thomas J. Vallely, both then 22, in the basement of a Lowell building that housed the headquarters of Kerry and another Democratic contender, state Representative Anthony R. DiFruscia of Lawrence. It was almost 2 a.m. - 30 hours before the polls opened - when the two were arrested on charges of breaking and entering with intent to commit larceny.

PART 4
That day's Sun blared a memorable, double-deck headline: "Kerry brother arrested in Lowell 'Watergate."' DiFruscia, getting some extra ink in the campaign's waning hours, had drawn the parallel to the break-in at Democratic headquarters in Washington three months earlier.
Clinton might have loaned him Sandy.
This happened last night? If so, why are we just hearing about this? If there really was something to be gained by stealing a couple of computers, we would have heard about this hours ago. Besides it's WA state, probably elf/alf.
==State Democratic Party spokeswoman Kirstin Brost said Democrats had nothing to do with the break-in.==
No big thing. If they get caught after the democrats win, all felons will be allowed to vote from prison.
You got me.
