The interesting thing will be to see how long it takes before the news channels get bored of this.
Even in 1980, after the initial small eruption on March 27, and then a bunch of small eruptions afterwards, the media actually got bored of the whole thing in late April-early May...and that was before the 24 hour news channels.

It's pretty clear the poster was referring to the idiotic thread started a couple days ago by someone that thought Mt. Rainier itself was having an earthquake swarm, failing to realize the seismometer there was simply picking up the earthquakes from Mt. St. Helens. Fairly sure that was Truth666, who thinks everything is either a conspiracy or the end of the world. He'll (she'll?) be on this thread very soon.

Nah, it was someone else, who seems basically convinced Rainier is about to collapse or erupt and it's being covered up.....datura, I think.
Not that Lies666 isn't going to show up on this thread at some point; I give that a 70% probability :-)
