Fine, we'll retaliate

This opens the door for the Bush campaign to use both audio AND video from the debates. Given Kerry's arrogance, personal attacks on the man next to him, untruths and fip-flops, use of these clips will be a potent weapon over the next few days.

The DNC was foolish to breach the agreement, as their candidate lives in a glass house.

This is good news.

I just wish Mr Bush had pointed out more of Kerry's failures and vacillations, and his disastrous Senate record<<

The beauty of a President like Bush is: HE LET'S THE PEOPLE MAKE UP THEIR OWN MINDS!

Bush has no need to point out what he feels an intelligent electorate can figure out themselves. A man above the fray is GWB!

Ditto, Bush's "faces" spoke, "what an idiot". I don't think McAwful understands body language and how this video will speak the "Kerry's an idiot" message.

This is entirely expected since they cannot use any of Bush's responses in a negative way. The Bush team, however, will use Kerry's words from the debate against him and that will be much more powerful. The response of the two teams will be a map of the debate - Kerry looked good, Bush got his message through and Kerry couldn't defend his flip-flop UN and French loving image.

Watch the RNC ads. They will tell the real story of this debate.

Nonsense.

Any so-called "swing" voter, or college "debater", who whould vote for the Kerry/UN/Soros ticket, already believes in the "global test".

This so called debate, showed Kerry for what he is, and if the public wants that, then they will have to pay the price in the future.

Bush's faces were better than the ONE expression Kerry made while Bush was speaking. He looked like a wide-eyed Bobblehead doll, constantly nodding the whole time. If that wasn't phony, I don't know what is.

The Bush campaign is understated. He's leaving it up to the likes of us to keep the fires burning. We've still got work to do!

"How is that any cheaper of a shot than, say, the GOP running clips of Kerry wind surfing in flop-flop directions? "

Oh come on, do you really someone to spell it out to you?!?

The windsurfing commercial was making a policy point, this is just a cheap shot at Bush's appearance as well as a violation of the debate agreement.

I don't get it, why would the DNC show a video of Bush reacting to a frustrated John Kerry?

Oh, I get it now, Bush supposedly looks frustrated??? But why, because he is winning the election by too many electoral votes??

Stay tuned. The second debates will have Kerry on the defensive of his own record. I think Bush's strategy was to not bog the viewer down with details, but just repeat a mantra that people will remember. That is exactly what happened. Can you remember a single message other than "Iraq was a mistake" from Kerry? Yet, there were several clear simple messages taken away from Bush: Consistency, resoluteness, leadershipt, and America determining her destiny, not Europe.

I watched the video and it is without any impact. Could almost be seen as a positive for Bush. Definitely will not pass a "global test".

One one of Kerry's first answers I groaned and buried my face in a pillow. My sister, who was watching with me, laughed and said, "Look up, quick! Bush is making the same face you are right now!"

You're right. We need a SWEEP or it will be a legal quagmire. Each of us needs to do what we can to re-elect W!

During the debate, I thought the President was going to let loose over Kerry's North Korea/Albright policy. My take was there is something going on there and Kerry's position was not helpful.

I actually love the clip. It is the same look we have all had when dealing with someone who is flat our lying or illogical. It was not the ugly sighs of Gore, it was what in the **** is that guy smoking!!

Dem hardcores will like it, fence sitters probably feel the same way when listening to Kerry!

The good news is the "debate" was held before the town hall format.

A Kerry bobblehead doll wearing flip flops would be perfect!

I'd like to see a commercial of Kerry and all his hand movements. He was very distracting with all the hand waving he was doing. I bet a body language expert would have some interesting things to say about the hands, such as watch my hands instead of listening to what I am saying. I thought he looked like a guy trying to land a jet on an aircraft carrier.

I hate to say it but the DU'ers did an excellent job DU'ing all the internet polls. The campaign sent out notices to all the faithful with step by step instructions and links to be able to sway and media opinion. This video clip thing will backfire on them. God Bless President Bush........
