To: The Sons of Liberty

Bush's stump speeches are passionate and high energy - none of that was on display tonight when the topic certainly called for it.

Don't know where the real Dubya was.

Bush is a true believer in the New Tone. As such, I think he was keeping his powder dry. You could tell he was less than thrilled with all the criticism, but his critic offered no substantive solutions--as such, Kerry proved tonight that he is part of the problem, not part of the solution--i.e., he was essentially non-presidential.

Early on I thought things were going to get pretty nasty, but I believe that Bush knows he had nothing to win by filleting, battering, and frying Kerry on nationwide TV.

I agree..what happened to him ? Let so much slide ..I wish he would have asked Kerry what the UN has actually done to accomplish ANYTHING in modern times?

I don't think The President is as relaxed in the debate atmosphere as he is when he is out meeting the people. I think was tired from visiting Florida hurricane victims all day.

Meanwhile, Sen Flip-Flop was spending his time getting a manicure.
