How much erosion of support do you think Kerrry will get from all this hawkish foreign policy talk?

Kerry tried to take all the best Bush has done and take credit for it before-the-fact.

In other words, he kept saying he would "hunt down and destroy Islamic terrorists wherever they may be" and then on the other hand followed that up with promising to be the first one to bring the troops home.

I didn't see a single thing new in the entire debate.

(Howlin pointed this out - I think it is a very accurate summation of who the debate winner is.)

2. Regardless of which candidate you happen to support, who do you think did the better job in the debate: John Kerry or George W. Bush?

Kerry 53%, Bush 37%

5. Next, regardless of which presidential candidate you support, please tell me if you think John Kerry or George W. Bush would better handle the situation in Iraq.

Bush 54%, Kerry 43% (Pre-debate: Bush 54%, Kerry 40%)
