The president is NOT a classically good debater.OTOH,he IS very good relating with people and he had his facts down pat.

Kerry is a classic debater, but 1)flip flopped 2)said he would arm Iran with NUKES,of all things 3)denigrated ALL of our allies 4)lied and then lied and lied again 5)was booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooring as all getout.

What the complainers wanted,President Bush to somehow nuke Kerry, was NEVER going to happen;such things seldom if ever do,in these debates!

There just isn't enough time, for anyone,to do what you wanted and Weld was right, when he said that in debates,Kerry spews out so many lies, that it's impossible to correct them all and still get one's own points across.

Yes, pundits WILL parse the speeches tomorrow and even the most ardent Dem supporters aren't going to be able to spin Kerry performance, all that well.

The RNC has put out a statement about Kerry lying about saying that he never said that Bush lied. He has used that work several times and the RNC has the quotes to prove it.

Lying in a presidential debate is not good.

bush won because soccer mommies know their kids are safer because of him.

and they know kerry wants france's permission to protect our kids from being murdered on their own playgrounds while at school...

kerry wants global permission to act in our own self defense.

and while he may be a slicker debator tonight...
he may have even won, as far as technical debate scoring goes, but when it comes to getting the message out as to WHO is gonna protect our babies and WHO intends to let the French serve them on a bun to islamists with heinz ketchup on a playground sometime next year... KERRY F"D himself but good.

Kerry wants jacques permission to protect american interests.
And ALL americans who heard that, and know what it means... made their decision final tonight.

slick words, do not a firm ship of state run.

but firm actions and focussed resolve do.
bush's repittious stuttering of the same phrase "hard work" was telling. He is every bit as focussed on this task now, as he was on 9-11.

Kerry made it clear, he wants to form committees of international socialists to get permission and advice on how to defend our nation. But America knows, that France and Germany do NOT a coalition make.
