"Kerry is defending himself, rambling"
That IS WHY I'm online right now. There has never been another Presidential candidate which annoys me like Kerry. He's second to Clintons and he only EVER has 2 points to "ramble on" about.
1.Defending himself out of both sides of his mouth --- 2.Yammering about his purple heart days in Nam.
STYLE!! style my ass, Kerry looks like he has a steel rod up his ass, that is not the style most people find attractive, even Bush haters would admit W has more style than Kerry, I mean C'mon!!!
W is on a roll, now.

Jim Lehrer is a disgrace. They may as well have had Dan Rather moderate.
And telling lies at every turn. However, Kerry is maintaining control. President Bush sounds like he has been backed into a corner and is hacking away for his life. He needs to slow down a bit, take a deep breath, and let it rip without sounding so irritated.
President Bush is now starting to defend himself a little better against the constant attacks, so let's hope this leads somewhere.

Kerry is attacking and attacking and attacking, but that doesn't mean he is killing Bush. Depends upon a lot of things.
This stuff is hard to watch.
He's attacking instead of saying what he will do, doesn't specify his plan.
Bush needs to point out the flip-flops more. everything kerry is saying is contradicted by Kerry.

Hildy, I agree. Every question is stacked against President Bush. The media are going to paint this as a win for F'n no matter what.
I'm tuning it out now and thinking about the HUGE crowds of supporters that Dubya has drawn to his campaign rallies. I'm remembering the truth of the saying "What makes a good man great is his ability to inspire greatness in others." President Bush is good...and GREAT.
So far it looks like style over substance and I am afraid that style is winning. W is looking disgusted.

Kerry is going to get hit so hard, Mr. I wouldn't do everything the same way knowing what I do now, but I would have voted for the resolution still.
