Thread 1 - Pre-Debate discussion
He just nailed him on it!
Kerry said he made a mistake when he talked about the war!
Lehrer getting in the VVAW question about the last man dying for a mistake!!!
Kerry is unfortunately winning right now
Who had 9:29pm Easter time in the Vietnam poll?
You're right. I don't remember him being like this in the debates with Gore, at all.
The New York SUBWAYS weren't closed for the RNC. The Boston trains were closed down for the DNC, though.
RE:" Kerry admits to WMD in Iraq, crossing the border?"
Do ya think the media will take note of that comment? Wish Dubya would have acknowledged it. He seemed nervous to me ...and i had to come here instead. Going for a glass of wine!
Kerry admits mistake
BUSH NEEDS TO HIT BACK HARD!!!!!
How many times has Kerry brought up his service in Vietnam tonight? Anyone playing the drinking game is gonna be smashed tonight.
I agree. He seems to be upset and losing his patience. I think he is not coming across as well as he should. Kerry is yammering on too much about some domestic issues but I think he is making what wavering voters will consider to be good points.
Is there a video link for this debate?
vietnam!!!!! the magic word. Bush does 87million!!!!
VIETNAM REFERENCE #3. (Before Lehrer's VN question, which I'm not counting).
The Guard saw Kerry and said "We need you."
What they MEANT, was "We need a Purple Heart Soldier like you to come and fight in a war and stay more than 4 months."
Bush got Kerry. Voted for the $87 before he voted against it. Oh oh. Kerry mentioned Viet Nam.
Mike Wallace is pandering to Kerry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HE came home from Vietnam and just SAID NO!
too late...he said it
First one to Bush. Kerry didn't answer the question put to him and Bush did.
He was in Vietnam and he's proud, PROUD that he came home and protested the war? Holw many drinks does that count for?
