Snugs, one thing to remember is that the next debate will be the "town hall" venue. President Bush always does much better when he is talking directly to the people. He's never comfortable in this type of setting. Someone mentioned that although the President's style is sometimes stumbling and hesitant, we remember what he says. Does anyone recall anything Kerry said? Were there any memorable lines? We will remember that "the biggest threat is nuclear weapons in the hands of terrorists."

There were some memorable lines for me from Kerry: pass a "global test" for deciding to attack preemptively and giving Iran nuclear fuel to "see" if they would use it peacefully...The Senate said it would vote against signing the Global Warming Treaty and he attacked President Bush for not signing it ,too...His story about armor when he voted against funding it and hit on cutting taxes was also memorable...Doubling the number of special forces was pie in the sky rhetoric, too.

I agree I was talking to my father afterwards said exactly the same thing the Town Hall setting will suit Bush best. What we have to remember is that in peoples mind the last debate will be the one they remember. So lets us hope he does very well in the Q and A and then that boosts him for the final debate.
