How'd we get off the genocide in Africa and on to a draft.
Truth Squad INCOMING!!! You ain't seen ( or heard )nothin' yet
Bush is doing fine. You and I are not the target audience.
Listening to Kerry would make anyone feel like an idiot. He says things that are foreign, things we know not to be true, and he lies and twists the truth.
The power of pause is an effective debating tool. It shows thought going into what you're saying.
I told you so. No knockout punches and nothing new about their positions from either candidate. Both are speaking to their own bases. And Kerry desperately needed the knockout punch. Bush only needs to not lose badly.
President Bush is speaking from the heart.
Effin Kerry is speaking bullshit rhetoric.
"It might surprise you to know that most of the online sites critiqueing the debate pretty much score it a draw so far, with Kerry gaining slightly on style points."
That doesn't surprise me. It's like the first Gore-Bush debate. There's no knockout blow. Kerry might be doing better than expected, and the President a little worse, but who is more likeable? That's the real question. If Kerry comes across as everyone's knowledgable but hated teacher, he's toast overall.
I'm reading the live blogging on another site as well. One half say the President is losing badly, one half say he's whipping Kerry and everyone is having a nervous breakdown. Please calm down and chill out. I know the President is going to win on November 2. Keep your eye on the big picture.
Good point. Praying God is closing ears to the lies of Kerry.
While I agree that President Bush should have nailed Kerry on the flak jackets thing, it is pretty easy to just keep saying I would have done MORE, I would have talked to so and so, I would have spent more. Kerry has no record of success, not in his treatment if peers in the military or in the Senate. It is all just hot air and arm chair quarterbacking. Hang tough, Vinnie.
"My, that's a lovely set of curtains, America. . ."
I'll be honest with you. You're an SOB!
It's unfortunate, but it seems honest opinion gets you upset.
This response time is killing me, by the time I get a thought out, it's too late!
Gonna lay out till after it's over.
No, but this Mexican is slurring....
Kerry's "service" for the country was treasonous.
His Senate Record!!! Yes!!! Hahahahah
HERE! HERE!!
Kerry was considered the second-best debater EVER at Yale.
The BEST was William F. Buckley, Jr.
Bush is not Buckley. We knew that going in.
He is making his points OK. But he does REPEAT too much.
Heh.
