President Bush will speak in Cuyahoga Falls this Saturday. Huge turnout expected.
Go you mighty Wolerines... er... Buckeyes...er...(whatever)
And the beat goes on...
There doesn't seem to be information at the link about the exact location or whether tickets are required. I've tried to check with the local party HQ and re-post but can't get through. Grew up in a rural part (Northampton Township) of Cuyahoga Falls and I cannot recall the town ever receiving a visit by a presidental candidate, much less the man himself. The Falls is a suburban Republican bastion next to Akron and surrounded by rabidly democrat Summit County.
From the pictures I saw yesterday here, it looked like the entire state was allready there to greet him! I'll bet the traffic is something else!
This is awesome! I am there. Any idea how to get tix?
I read somewhere that more details would be released on Thursday 9/30. I live about 10 miles north of Cuyahoga Falls, and plan to attend with the kids.
The President is to speak at the new Natatorium in the Falls.
I believe you need to pick up tickets at the Republican headquaters in Akron.
Morning radio confirmed that the location is the renovated Natatorium. Doors open at 12:00 noon and the President will speak at 3:30. Tickets are required with photo ID and can be picked up at the Summit County Republican Party HQ.
