Name was Harry Truman. He was hounded by the press continually asking him when he was leaving his home. The first time they asked he said "Never" so of course they made him into a big story and continued asking him when he was leaving. To save face he did not leave and died as a result. His death is on the press's hands I believe.
Oh come on. He was warned over and over to leave. I can't blame his death on the press. A heroine in French literature preferred to drown rather than remove her skirts so she could swim. Aren't they both cases of stupidity?
He said he didn't believe in premature evacuation?
