I was having an argument with another FReeper about how many of the old timers were still around. I tell people there is a FReeper vsyndrome and that most of them are still around, they just don't post much anymore.

I signed up about right around the time of the March for Justice. I think I still have a copy of the CSpan coverage around here somewhere. lurked around for about six months before that. Found this place through a Drudge link.

I'm apparently registrant #12141. I was originally known as MadAsHell on the forum until JimRob politely asked me if I wouldn't mind changing my screen name due to the fact that there was another FReeper with screen name Mad-As-Hell, and that the new software would confuse the two. So, I happily cooperated as long as I was able to keep my original sign-on date of Oct 9, 1998.
