I was having an argument with another FReeper about how many of the old timers were still around. I tell people there is a FReeper vsyndrome and that most of them are still around, they just don't post much anymore.
Here is your chance to put these rumours to rest. Chime in and let everyone know you still are alive and kicking. Post your registration number if you know it.
HAHA:) No, but I fed them like Ben Franklin did. The way to a woman's heart is through a warm tummy. Ben Franklin made tummies warm on two continents:)
Posting goofy pictures Since May 23, 1998
Lurked through most of '98.
March for Justice, October 31, 1998 was the first defining moment in my FReeper experience! There have been many others since then!
Registered November 2, 1998 (I have no idea what took me so long after 10/31!)

Proud to be a FReeper!
Present and accounted for.
Lets put it this way, I was here 6 months prior to "DeepInTheHerthgard(?)Forrest" episode.
Still here, FRiend.
Don't recall my number, but I do recall Don Morgan, DITHF, ASH, eb4 and his other iterations, A+Bert etc., and a host of others; some good - some bad (Eschior !!) - all grist to the Freeper cobblestone highway.
Testing. Testing. harrowup is full of it as was proven long ago on Yahoo! boards. Let's see if I'm banned.
It was my pleasure. :-)
#15 is still hanging around.
I posted many replies in 1998 esp. during the Clinton impeachment hearings, but I had to re-register because Jim upgraded the FR board and my old net access wasn't compatible. So my signon date officially registers as a later date.
yeh, me too.
*sigh*
#1592, finally registered 2/11/98. Started lurking Oct-Nov 1997 - I will never forget the days leading up to Drudge breaking Monica over that weekend. I remember telling so many people about it, and kept talking about it from that Saturday night all the way into Wednesday, when it finally broke in the lamestream press. People simply thought I was stupid for believing what I read on the internet - gee, that CAN'T be true, or we would all know about it!...
It was so wierd, knowing all about Slick Willie and the lies he told us all, and sharing that outrage with many new online friends. Then, when Lewinsky broke, it was almost surreal. Alamo-girl's documneting the "legacy" was a blast, and slightly scary - I remember some nights sensing that the Feds/others were surely monitoring our posts. As a regular Joe I never even imagined I might feel that way, but there it was. God help us, I really believe we will read about Clinton and his scum until the day we all die, or until a better day breaks...
Regards.
Oh, wow. Free Republic just had its eighth anniversary go by and we didn't even have a happy birthday bash. Free Republic was born on 9/23/96.
I'll never forget it! My back was turned, someone bellowed EXIT148!! I turned and there you were!!! You really really made a first impression!! And then I hugged a stranger ---- who was one of my best friends!!!

#7210 signing in. I have been here almost daily since 7-21-98. FreeRepublic is "one stop shopping" for me. I get all my news and occasional ranting accomplished with this one stop. Thanks Jim Robinson, Buckhead, TankerKC, Tet68-69, Doug from Upland, Billie and all you other Freepers who help keep us all informed.
Happy Anniversary, my on-line friend! Sorry I missed you at Basil's here in Austin, I was tied up that day. God Bless.
Ted
Peter, the guy who motivated and directed everyone to clean up the mess from the MFJ. You were so appreciated, and my new wife, Firstimer, remembers clearly your leadership in making that happen. Thank you, again.

Ed Millar...OMG.
