O'Reilly airing 1st of 3 part Bush interview
First debate is on foreign policy and homeland security.
It's a great point and I'm glad he made it. There is no ultimate victory by just military action. We need Iraqi political success to achieve our ultimate goal and we certainly couldn't risk losing that support, something a President McCain would have done months ago.
Yes, not only confident but speaking quickly...that's a good thing. I love on Brit Hume's show tonight he said there was nothing wrong with our tv, Kerry is a red orange color..he said his staff said he "picked up a little sun in the past couple of days"..Brit seemed to find that a little funny but is reporting what they said. LOL
The important thing is that Bill is letting him talk... he's not interrupting like Little Timmy.
Nope, first debate is foreign policy. BAker wants to step on Kerrys neck early and often.
Bush sounds confident, and on the issues. He made a smart move to appear. Should watch it regardless of feelings for O'reilly.
Not lucky... The President is setting up John Kerry. The President isn't worried about his performance in the interview. He is confident, and he knows his stuff.
John Kerry is stuck now with his interviews on the comedy, fake news shows... and it isn't making him look good.
Simply, President Bush just raised the stakes! John Kerry can either fold the hand, or match it.
OK Tonk, it's going to be hard to tell from the "pack order" signals in the interview ... but it's not O'Reilly that is the "alpha male" President!
O'Reilly really considers himself a peer. I'll be surprised if he doesn't try to lift his leg on our President.
Good thing his demand of underlings to interview of the star of "The Passion of the Christ" fell through.
It will be this Thursday!
LLS
Bush did dodge the question about Fallujah. He should have asked if O'Fraud had seen the news about the offensive now ongoing.
Mission accomplished strawman up!
I notice that, O'reilly's really behaving well. Has a goofy look sometimes, but he's not being rude.
The best part about Bush right now is that HE is satisfied that HE is conducting this mission (the WOT) in the manner he KNOWS is best. He is relaxed, he is calm. He exhibits inner-strength...almost a "peace" with himself. I would bet that when his head hits the pillow, he sleeps soundly.
He WILL trash Kerry in the debates, because what he speaks is what he BELIEVES.
THIS will carry him this election season.
Watch.
I stand corrected ;-)
Apologies to our gracious President, who has my vote again.
sw
It depends on the interviewer .. The President is comfortable with O'Rielly
I have it on (missed the intro).
O'Reilly said "What happened to Saddam's chemical weapons" and GWB said we don't know.
Saddam is not talking.
GWB also pointed out Iraq definitely had capability to produce and could have passed that capability on to terrorists.
It's back.
"Controversy" over "Mission Accomplished" speech.
GWB sets the record straight. He's going to thank troops every chance he gets. O says "but press spins it", GWB says they spin everything.
Completely stands by what he did and how he did it. Me too!
knocked it out of the park.
"Of course I'd do it again! I'm saying THANKS on behalf of a grateful nation!"
McCain? You gotta be kidding!
