Check out Mexican birth rates in the past ten years. They've seriously dropped (as they have in many other third world nations). I'm sure that much of that is from growing prosperity along the border and from capital sent back by Mexicans in the US. The Atzlan morons don't even realize yet that demographics has already turned against their fantasies. It is not Mexico that will swamp the US, but the US that will slowly swamp Mexico.

And .. according to Tommy Franks .. it was Franks that suggested the President use the words "Mission Accomplished" because Franks was trying to get assistance from nearby Arab states and they kept telling Franks that they would not get involved until "THE US MISSION WAS ACCOMPLISHED AND MAJOR COMBAT WAS OVER" .. which of course is why the President said, "Major combat is over".
So .. if the elite media could see farther than the end of their nose, they would have already had their answer.
Not only the Arabs but the Europeans who were that "no fighting, but humanitarian after-War assistance" ilk.

And dammit, the USS Lincoln had the longest cruise ever. 17 months or something. THEIR MISSION was accomplished. That was the celebration.
Another pet peave of mine is bilingual education. I do believe we should ALL learn a second language, not teach them in theirs.
And how would you stop people from coming in by boat or from Canada or by plane? How do you stop smugglers from bribing your guards? What about tourists? Are you going to follow them around with a guard to make sure that they don't stay? Where are you going to get all the guards? Put twenty to thirty million Americans into uniform to guard all the points of entry? Now that's a productive use of labor and capital. Though, I guess that it'd be a backdoor way of creating a totalitarian communist government. And while you're doing that, who's going to be making sure that Chicoms or Islamofascists or North Koreans or the Russians aren't getting ready to smash the US?
And .. if Kerry should do BOR's program .. will Bill have a cabal of rapid conservatives to rip his statments apart ..?? I don't think I'll take any bets on that happening.
I will watch what the President says because I enjoy watching the President articulate what he believes. But .. when the President is done .. I'm done .. the rest of the program is of no interest to me.
Aftering hearing what Bush said to O'Reilly about his borders questions there is NO way I will vote for him now. He was completely open about his support for "free trade" ie FTAA and NAFTA. He has NO intentions of doing anything about the border which is a straight up insult to the American people. I would have rather he just lied about his plans, at least then I could sleep better at night. He really didn't seem to have a clue when O'Reilly mentioned troops on the border.

He did good on the rest of the interview, and of course Bush will win as Kerry is a complete tool but why have the American people(on BOTH sides) not noticed we are being invaded????
And what type of soldiers would we have if they spent all their time casually shooting people looking for a better way of life? Do you really want a military that so casually murders civilians? How long before those soldiers realize it's just as easy to shoot civilian Americans -- and much more profitable since they have way more money? That's not a path you want to go down.

I have contacted the Bush administration several times concerning border security and he has always give me the same reply as he gave tonight. I cannot fault him for being truthful. If anyone thinks the Dems and Kerry would do better think again.

Captain Bloviatus Maximus has been steering his frigate toward the MSM home port for some time now. To be granted entry, one of the first signals to the home port must be the professed view that, in the socio-political continuum, there are only "center" and "hard right". Everything from liberalism to communism occupies the "center", and all conservative views are cast as "hard right". In no time at all, one will hardly be able to distinguish him from Brokaw.
