I've never seen any poll out of Iraq showing only 5%.
The lowest number I've ever seen was 65% want America there.

Some idiot called this show last night -- Terry something was the show, never heard it before, anyway, this guy calls in and goes into this long thing about how President Polk stole California to Texas from the Mexicans and it's really theirs, yada, yada... finally the host got mad and hung up on this guy, but many callers then called and reminded everyone that we PAID for the land and if the US hadn't laid claim to it that it could have gone to any number of other European countries trying to get it and not willing to pay for the land (Russia, Spain, Portugal, etc.)...
You know what, if Vincente Fox want's a fight, I say go for it, but do what we have to do to take back our country. We have a proposition here in Arizona to start the process and they said Californian's are trying to bring back Prop 187 again...
What really, really ticked me off was the part of the program on Maticular cards and banks encouraging them. They said we need to know our banks and only bank with the ones who are not pushing these cards... for example Bank One here in Arizona is very into these immigrants and one person called and said she had worked there and one of the managers held an entire meeting in Spanish... most of the participants didn't speak Spanis and asked him to give it in English (this is the USA afterall) and he refused even though he speaks excellent English -- so they called Corporate to complain and received: if you don't like it learn to speak Spanish, we won't require him to hold meetings in English....

You want the US Military searching your car at the border?
While I believe that the border is a problem, it is NOT one to be solved by the military (at least not the active military). There are laws that prevent the Active Military from being used in this capacity. The laws are there for a reason.

Sun Protectant???? Sheesh, do they think we fell off the turnip wagon? That's shorthand for: "He doesn't have time to go windsailing for his tan so he went to a tanning salon and they sprayed on a tan for the debates and it looks like sh!t so we have to explain it!"

That's Dubya's goodness showing.

The Navies mission WAS accomplished... guess these liberal genius' don't get it! He was thanking these sailors who had been a sea for a very long time and had done an excellent job.

Bit of a problem with that approach, the majority of the border in Texas, Big Bend aside, is owned by private individuals. I believe this is the case across the majority of the southwest. Are you going to just confiscate their property to do this?

President McCain would never have had the courage to go into Iraq. We would be trying to defend ourselves in the streets by now.

It's actually partly because more people watch the first debate and then sorta ignore the others. Since foreign policy is the most important issue .. I believe the President wants to make some important points while most of the country is watching.

Come on Colmes is one of the nicest liberal around! You may claim that Colmes is one of the nicest liberals around, but IMHO he maintains one of the strongest daily liberal talking points of anyone on the cable shows. I would like to put Alan on a lie detector and ask him how often he communicates with the democratic party, the John Kerry campaign, and especially the Clinton clan. He is more biased than Dan Rather...................
To: KnutCase
I don't know if it was all that. Maybe Baker did. But it sure works out for Bush. In my view anyway.
I'm a new aunt. He was supposed to be born in Oct. But I just found out he arrived! Even though he is early, he is a health, 7# boy. YEA!!!
